I got four plants from an event that I went to a few weeks ago. Iâve now discovered snails? On the soil and the plants. Empty shells and live ones, many little live ones. I also found a caterpillar in one. I am very very close to just tossing all the plants. Is this bad or can they spread to my other plants?
I'm a new plant mom and have about 10 indoor plants in my room and the place I bought one of my plants (Home Depot) it had fungus gnats now they have gone to my other plants. I have done the hydrogen peroxide treatment and sticky traps paired with Zevo. The number of adults has gone down but still have some lingering, very few. What's ways to get rid of them and ways to keep them away after treatments

Does this look like spider mites to yall? I saw a small house spider near this plant recently, but i let it be in hopes itd catch potential gnats and flies. Iâm not sure if this webbing is from a regular spider or spider mites. If yes, do any of yall have cat-safe treatment tips? And other care to make this calathea feel better :)
. Just met my first mealy bug EVER! It was hiding in the armpit of one of my propagates and plopped straight into the waterâlucky for me, otherwise it wouldâve stayed undercover. Iâve armed all my houseplants with household systemic defenses and unleashed a 1:1 spray combo of 91% isopropyl alcohol and water, with a few drops of Dawn dish soap for good measure. Rinse and repeat over the next few weeks⊠mealy bugs, consider this your eviction notice. Iâve got this!
Repotted all of my plants about 2 weeks ago. I gave my plants water with the repotting, and this one plant has had none of the water! The soil is still completely wet even though the pot has drainage and itâs even starting to mold on top! However, even though the plant isnât drinking any water, it still appears to be super happy and healthy. Whatâs more strange is that I live in dry Colorado where things dry out very quickly! Any ideas on whatâs going on and what I should do?

My pilea is losing leaves!! At first I thought the old ones were just dying off but this perfectly healthy leaf started turning down/black and fell off from barely touching it. What's wrong with it? The soil is kinda moist still after almost a week of me changing the soil and watering it. Help!!
I have such a hard time with my monsteras! Theyâre all leggy - yes, not the right sunlight. But they always just have one long blanch. Thereâs never a grouping of off shoots. How do you have it procreate? Will a sunlight lamp help save my plants?? Thank you!!!
My Algerian Ivy did NOT like the light in this western direct light sunroom. I moved it this morning to a spot that is about 8â from western light. Hoping it does better here. Pic on left when it was new, pic on right is from this morning after I moved it. I water it every week and fertilize it every second week. Any suggestions? Should I cut it back? Help please!

I was gifted these Alocasias. Theyâre beautiful. However they came with a secondary gift. Spider mites. I know how to get rid of them so thatâs all fine, my question for everyone is do you let the person you got them from know that they have spider mites? Itâs someone that isnât super into plants and Iâm not sure how to politely be like âhey girl, ya got pestsâ without it sounding offensive

My otherwise healthy plant has recently been losing leaves that look like this. The new smaller leaves also have a reddish tint to them. Any ideas or thoughts on what could be happening are welcome!
I need help! I posted a month ago about my plant and was told to get a smaller pot which I didâŠ. But I donât know if my plant is still alive or not. The original pot was too big and my plant was over watered and dropped its leaves really fast. The last 4 leaves dropped/died but are still hanging on to the plant⊠the first picture was a month ago when I repotted. The others are from it currently⊠and Iâve cut back on watering and itâs got a light for 12 hours a dayâŠ. is my plant still alive?
