Fungus gnats are starting 😔 I bought a bag of mosquito bits to add to my watering can to water my plants. What water to mosquito bits ratio do you guys recommend for a bits tea? Thank you in advance!

I love my little Zz plant. She's placed on the stairway which is low light. I was wondering why the soil looked like this. I noticed it on the snake plant I got from easyplant as well. It's not due to the company because they didn't arrive like this. Just want to know if location of the plant can be causing this. I appreciate your feedback. I am noticing that the soil is super moist on top could that be the cause? I filled the planter and haven't had to touch it sense but I'm wondering if I should only fill it halfway next time instead of the recommended full thing.

Does anyone know what these scuffs could be? Humidity? Transplant? Too much light? I had a hard time with this El Choco Red. It arrived in a bad condition and had so many long mature leaves but it was very root bound so I repotted it months ago, but lost all its 5-6 leaves at the time. I then discovered a swamp of little critters in its new soil (fungus gnats, spider mites and springtails) and immediately took it out, chopped the long chonk to propagate and added the only leaf standing in water, then transferred to semi-hydro once grew some roots. Popped a new leaf in water but smaller size, and now it’s working on a new leaf. Is it fair to say this plant has been through a lot or could I improve its conditions and environment to avoid these leaf scuffs. ThanksđŸŒ±âœŒïž

Ya’ll i need help. She’s a ‘Pink Allusion’ Arrowhead and i THOUGHT that the veins were just pink but i noticed the other leaves and the pink they have in the vein area, this isn’t pink it’s more brown
I have a plant light right above her and a few other plants, so i’m thinking wayy to much light where it’s direct light on her. I just watered her yesterday after waiting days until her soil was, not completely dry, but dry enough to water again. If anybody has any ideas please let me know!

So I need help!! I rescued this mini orchid from Home Depot and it had severe root rot. I cleaned it with peroxide and cut all the rot away. Basically the whole root system was rotted, and had spread to the leaves. It is now sitting in water. Any tips would be helpful!!

Hello! My snake plant is doing fine overall. It’s just this one leaf that’s turning brown gradually. I pruned it a little on the top but that didn’t solve the problem. Any help?

Hi all! I noticed some brown cracks and spots on the leaves of my peacock plant. Need help with why it must be happening and some remedies for it. The plant has been growing well otherwise.

I also a philodendron who has crispy bits in her leaves and she doesn’t seem to want to grow much more than this. I’ve had her for a solid 8 months or so and she doesn’t seem to thrive anywhere I put her. Any recommendations??

Okay so I have a Swiss Cheese monstera, she’s growing INCREDIBLY leggy, with a solid almost foot between growths. A couple of the tips of the leaves are starting to get brown and crispy. It looks like something ate one of her leaves. Should I repot her? What else could I do to help her??

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone can help me. I planted zinnias and started them indoors. While still inside, the leaves started to turn kind of yellow and crunchy/dry. I have tried fertilizer, fungicide and have been on top of watering/moisture. This is what they currently look like. I transitioned them outside but they still look weird. Are they lost? Or can I still save them? What should I do to improve them? All tips are very much appreciated!! Thank you đŸŒș🌾

Hello. I got this umbrella tree 2-3 weeks ago and thought it was a cultivar, but now that I am learning more, I think the spots are an indication of a problem? First of all, Planta ID’d it as an Octopus tree. Is that right? Second, the brown dots are not “on” the leaf, but rather in it (if that makes sense), and I don’t see any thrips or other pests. It does seem the longer I own it, the less dotted leaves I am getting but it has dropped quite a few after the repot. It seems to be stabilizing now though. Any help would be appreciated. PS: I show the underside of the leaves in an image. There is a different brown spot there, but that is not what I am showing.
