I think I may have spider mites or something creating webs in my plant… what should I do? :((
I went through and wiped down all the leaves with damn paper towels and cleaned my plant. I don’t wanna get rid of her, she’s thriving more than ever rn, but I don’t want bugs

UPDATE
Checked my marble queen pothos a second time after brown spots on foliage and discovered minor root rot that I didn’t catch the first time I checked it. I removed all the damaged leaves, dark roots, added HP and put the remaining in water. Although I didn’t clean off the dirt 100% off the roots, here are current pics…
Definitely a learning experience for me.
Any tips?

I think my plant has Mealey bugs. I sprayed with Neem and the plant has been isolated for a week in a half. Is there anything else I can do? I am a new plant mom.

My roommate's Silver Splash has this cream/ yellowish fuzzy mold growing all over in the new mix it was just repotted with. The potting mix is coco coir + perlite + potting mix. Other plants were repotted with the same mix and none of them have mold. The silver splash seems otherwise healthy so far...
Is this an issue? If yes, how do we treat it?

I was checking my rattlesnake and found this. Do you guys have any idea what this might be? I thought about spider mites perhaps? But I didn’t find any pestes in my plant.

Orange aphids are my current nemesis. They have invaded my Hoya Bella and Hoya Krohniana Super Silver (Eskimo). The two plants are not close to each other. The Bella was in the back of the house in winter while the Krohniana was at the front windows. They were both outside about 30 feet from each other when orange aphids appeared on the new growth. They are on my first ever peduncle to start from nothing and begin blooming in my house since I started collecting hoyas almost a year ago!😭
They are killing my joy! So, I’m returning the favor. I sprayed with isopropyl alcohol yesterday. There were aphids still jiggling their butts this morning. They would not wash off under the faucet. So, I decided to soak both plants under soapy Dawn dishwater for a couple of hours to suffocate everything in the soil and above it. Hoyas make me work work work work work work!

Anyone know what pest this is? It’s all over the stems and leaves of my Bird of Paradise. I have been washing them off with water but not sure how to get rid of them.

Hello! My mom is trying to grow raspberries and blueberries in pots. They died the first time she tried but now they’ve recovered. The problem is in and under the pots are hundreds-thousands of ants in addition to maggots. Does anyone have any advice in either getting rid of these creatures and/or replanting ?

Hoping someone can help me. I have two Royal Purple plants planted in a pot on my patio. I noticed that there were little brown spots on the leaves. Does anyone know what it could be? Is it possibly from me getting water on the leaves when watering? Or something else? Any help is appreciated😊 Thank you.

So my lucky bamboos is turning yellow.I thought it was cuz I was over watering it so I stopped watering it for a good almost week now. It was turning back green then now it’s back to yellow and I still haven’t watered it.It just a little sunlight like it should.

Anybody know what’s going on with my Tradescantia Nanouk? She’s in a southwest facing window. I water when she’s dry. First time with this plant so not sure what’s going on!

Hey all, noticed a few people are struggling with propagating monstera cuttings and such in water, due to root rot and just rot in general.
Generally when you receive a cutting/make one you want to leave the area to callous over which helps prevent that area from rotting, you can also dip the end in wax to help seal it, both perfectly good options.
You will need to change the water regularly but don’t tip out all the water, only tip out around half and then fill it back up with fresh water to increase the oxygen levels, whilst also preserving the rooting hormones your plant releases to help root itself

I can’t figure out what’s wrong with my Aglaonema. I pruned some leaves off already that were yellowing/browning and had a few brown spots. Now there are more like this. Any idea what it could be?
I thought maybe it was a lighting issue at first (that I had it too close to a window) so I moved a little farther away and it’s still happening. I don’t believe I’m overwatering as I wait for it dry out a little (not completely) before watering. I believe they don’t like to go fully dry in between watering.

Lily
Hi guys, my peace Lily has been doing so well! But recently I’ve noticed she’s really droopy and the stems are quite floppy. I watered her yesterday with non chlorinated water through the top and let the water drain out the bottom (I heard somewhere every now and then you need to do this to help wash out unwanted minerals and stuff) but most of the time I water her through the feet and then let her drain and put her back into the pot. I do this whenever she looks droopy and I put my finger into the soil down deep to check it it’s dry. Any tips would be appreciated!
