Hi everyone! Quick question. I have my monstera deliciosa developing a new leaf. I got this plant back in February from a top cutting (I believe) that my wife grabbed. It was water propagated and then planted sometime in mid to late March. My concern is that with the new leaf coming in it may be a whole leaf and not a fenestrated one. I have it about 2-3 feet from a South facing window with a slight overhang and just added a grow light bulb over it that we turn on when using the space in the evening. So I presumed it was getting enough light but now I’m not sure. Is this whole leaf occurring because of low light or because it he plant itself is still in a juvenile stage?

Hello, I recently got a new monstera a few weeks ago, I have four others that are much much larger and thriving and I have never had this issue with my others. One of the leaves seems to have some issue not sure what it could be from. Not sure what it is. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Any ideas? Anything I can do to insure it doesn’t spread throughout the entire plant? Thank you in advance!!

New to tropical fruit. I’ve had this banana plant for a couple of weeks. The bottom leaves start to brown and crisp. It keeps growing new leaves from the top, but shortly after the leaves start to “split” like in the photo. Any ideas as to what is happening and how to make this healthier and happier?

I was gifted this African Milk Tree. It seems like it has been neglected and is probably in a too-small pot. One of the growths (far right in close up) is completely dead. Several others are healthy looking in the upper regions, but dried and damaged looking lower down. One in particular looks nearly as bad as the dead one along the bottom foot or so. Can the plants that are dead at the bottom but alive on the top be salvaged? Should I cut the bottom off and re-plant the top? It does seem to have an extensive root system, though I haven’t tried to repot yet. I’d like to preserve as much of it as possible.

Does anyone know what these are? I assume it’s some kind of group of eggs.

I have a fern that likes to stay moist. I’ve recently noticed a flee flying around it. What is the best way to get rid of this pest before it spreads to my other plants?

Hi all long time listener first time caller ha ha. I’m a newbie at gardening and something is eating my basil! It’s in a raised bed that is 4 feet off the ground so it isn’t anything crawling around. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I noticed these spots on my rose leaves and worried it was black spot so I removed all of the leaves from the bush and treated with anti-fungal spray. The leaves just began growing back so I treated it again with anti-fungal as a preventative measures and noticed these spots again. Are the spots just a reaction to the fungal treatment? Or is this actually black spot? Thanks in advance from a new gardener!!!

Hi everyone! 🤓 I just picked up my first red leaf banana tree and was looking to get some advice. First, I noticed nearly all the leaves are dropping, some of the leaves are broken and some leave are browning. Should I consider cutting off the broken leaves to help promote new growth? and should I also cut off the browning leaves as well?

Hey there! So I got this philodendron pink princess about 4 weeks ago ish. And she just bloomed this new leaf. Is it normal for the leaf to be brown on one side? It feels a little mushy, but could that be because it just sprouted and it’s not fully grown yet? This leaf also took a longer time unraveling itself than the other leafs being produced at the time. Please help! I have been rising the humidity every day, and making sure she gets some bright sun! I rotate her about every other week so each side gets sun ☀️ also, is there any way to make sure she gets more pink on her leaves?

My Alocasia Frydek was doing great but then I put her by the window and soon after her leafs started doing this. Is it a pest or like humidity issues? Or maybe a root problem?
