Question on Grow lights I found some LED Strip lights that are flexible but they do not specifically say they are grow lights. Can a regular LED strip light work as a grow light?

What is this? I was about to fertilise my golden Pothos and saw all of this white cloudy puff, I started look at the other plants in my room and all but one have it, the one shown is the worst case. Is it mould?? Cause the one with the most of it is in the darker area.

Help please! I recently bought this âchoco calatheaâ which I had never heard of before. Iâve placed her in my living which has medium light. Very quickly some leaves died off and others are yellowing. Iâm struggling to see whatâs wrong, the soil was a little dry and I watered again. Drainage is good and sheâs not sitting in water. Any thoughts?

Anyone have any ideas why this one calathea leaf might be leaning backwards? It only started doing it 3 days ago. The plant itself has really been thriving lately, it just produced 5 leaves and has 2 more coming. I water every 7-10 days when needed w filtered water. This has never happened before! Any ideas?

Dark slots and crispy tips have been appearing pretty quickly on my Thai Con. Root rot? I guess my soil is still not well draining enough. Thereâs not as much orchid bark in there as Iâd like. đ„Č That one dark spot on the stem is right on top of where the newest leaf was supposed so pop out. Life is insane right now, I have been neglecting my plant slightly.

I need some serious help. Iâm a relative newbie to plants, but over the last 18 months Iâve been very successful and now have around 50 plants! All of a sudden, everything that has been thriving is now struggling or dead. Several pots have what looks like mild, but also appears webby if you look closely. Until a few weeks ago, I had every plant in straight potting soil (fox farms) but I wanted to put them all in plastic nursery pots so I could monitor root growth. When I repotted, I added perlite, orchid bark, hort. Charcoal, and some leca. In an attempt to create an airy mix Iâve somehow done the opposite (the leca is the perp, perhaps). Before I spend $100 on potting soil and repot everything again, can anyone tell me what I did wrong? I donât think I overwater, but am I? Am I using too much fertilizer? Did I screw up with the repot soil mix? Iâm not seeing evidence of pests (besides gnats). Please help. đ

Help! My African milk tree isnât doing well. I already removed one stalk because it turned black spotted and mushy. I carefully repotted what was left (and appeared healthy) and moved it to a room without a humidifier. Itâs getting a lot of love from my grow lights and is not overwatered. I also treated with neem oil. But now thereâs a black spot coming in on yet another stalk, near the base. (So far still firmâ not mushy). Any ideas as to whatâs wrong and how to treat?

Scindapsus/semihydro experts - pls help! So I decided to do a big chop on my scindapsus bc it just wasnât growing/looking the way Iâd like (rly small growth, leaf curling mainly at the top, some yellowing)- so my plan was to put the rooted part of the plant in semihydro (pon) & I cut a majority of the vines to propagate bc I just havenât had luck w/ soil when it comes to these guys. However, upon further inspection of the root system Iâm not sure if the rooted part of the plant is worth saving (also considering a lot of the roots just broke right off and look to be almost a light yellow color & not white). So 1. Is it worth trying to repot? 2. Does anyone actually know whatâs wrong w/ the root systemâŠdoes this look like overwatering/underwateringâŠboth?!đ not sure if itâs rot, bc the roots werenât mushy, they actually mostly look super dry - despite a good watering schedule. I just donât know what Iâm doing wrong w/ this guy and I rly wanna master it!
