Autumnal

False shamrock. It first arrived root bound and completely drooping. Has done amazing progress and all leaves are perking up much more now. However the plant still continues to droop and be messy and has these green marks on the leaves. I sorted the roots and everything and rarely water it but it stays wet. It has drainage. I dont see pests anywhere What is happening? My humidity in the room is often 65-75+ as im in the woods could this be why?

Fiddle leaf fig new leaves are showing reddish brown spots also more crinkly looking. Was thinking previous owner had inconsistent watering patterns? Could be edema? I’ve checked everywhere and 0 signs of pests. New leaves seem very flimsy at first but always strengthen up after about 1-2 weeks. Please lmk if you have any ideas! Recently misted. Well draining soil and regular watering now. About 3 feet from east/southeast facing windows.

EDIT: The piece I found already had these two leaves and a root. I think it fell out of its original plant and then I found it. I put it in soil since it already had roots, about an inch big, and the next day AFTER planting- this is what the leaves looked like. Should I just leave it alone? Does it need more sun? Found a piece of a Lemon Lime Philodendron detached from main plant with a root at Home Depot. I took it home, put it in some soil to see if it would propagate, watered it, and now it has these brown spots and started slightly yellowing. Any suggestions?

Hey! All my plants have developed these tears and holes. They’re otherwise growing normally. I’ve been checking them obsessively for bugs, but can’t see anything. Any ideas?

Hi I’m a total beginner in planting 😄 I got this monstera about 2 months ago. It sits on the ground near a west-facing window and I water it every week. I started mixing food plant in the water starting 2 weeks ago. It has not been growing and the leaves don’t look very happy 🥲 Any advice??

Hi there! How do I cure thrips? My Dieffenbachia seguine and my Blushing Philodendron are currently infested…. I’ve given them both a rinse with warm water in the shower but I was hoping for something more effective. Thanks!

Please help identifying a pest!! There are so many of these little guys in the bottom of my alocasia’s decorative pot. They are very tiny and some are almost iridescent, don’t appear to be able to fly, but move quickly. I’ve only seen a few on the plant itself. Any thoughts on what it could be and how to treat are appreciated!

Is this monstera getting too much sun? Not sure what's wrong with it. I water it when the soil is bone dry should I water more? Advice please. New plant owner

Please help! I bought this variegated jade plant off Etsy and it was just delivered today. The packaging was completely sealed and it wasn’t damaged, but when I opened it, it was COVERED in EARWIGS! I didn’t know what type of bug they were until later, and my mom wanted me to get the plant out of the house as soon as possible, so I rushed it outside and 3 earwigs crawled out of it and entered the mulch where I was planning on planting my tiger lily bulbs today. 😰 I have never dealt with earwigs before, especially not with a houseplant, and now I’m scared to even plant the bulbs before I can find the earwigs that got into the mulch. I haven’t been able to find them, and now the jade plant’s soil is currently too dry and very root bound, so I can’t even see if there’s any eggs or larvae of any more of these earwigs hiding in my new jade. She’s also pretty wilted and leaning to one side from the trip through the mail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I have a cactus that’s growing rather odd and I’ve tried propping it up, but I’m just wondering if I could cut it off at a joint and propagate that or if that would damage the plant in any way

I sprayed cinnamon bark oil mixed with water on my houseplants because I read that it helps with ants and pests and now several leaves on some of them are turning brown and dying. I tried spraying them with just water to rinse it off but I’ve noticed more brown leaves. Anything I can do to fix it??

So I got this desert rose maybe 2 months ago. It had spider mites and lost all leaves. Now the base seems to be rotting. Is there anything I can do to save it? The soil is still moist but I’m scared it will break apart if I try removing it from this soil.
