What ARE these things?? They aren’t mealies. I never see them move. They are on my bird’s nest fern. I am continuously wiping them off. They are squishy and I really don’t like them.

Somebody gave me some cuttings like four months ago and they were a lot bigger and I had a lot more. I tried growing. The roots in water went great. It produced roots that I’d pull them out and half of the stem was rotted so I cut that off put it back in water. It kept happening so I decided to try again, but to just put it in soil, it’s been going great. The leaves haven’t been dying. It’s been looking good but for the past two weeks, the stems are looking like they’re rotting and now the leaves closest to the soil are dying. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong with this plant. I have it right next to a humidifier. I have it directly in the east facing window.(I’ve tried every single facing window.) I water it like every week and a half two weeks whenever my app tells me to and I have it in potting soil mixed with Pete moss because that’s what I found on the Internet to be the best soil for it

Hey wondering if anyone would have some advice. Bought this plant last year and she was doing very good in that exact same spot but now since winter started I feel like shes a little droopy. No new leaves since winter. Is this normal behaviour for this time of year? What should I do? (Top left leaf was broken when I got it)

I moved all my plants to a less drafty, better lit area about a month ago. My other plants are doing great but my poor camo plant is NOT happy. He’s been yellowing and droopy. I’m not sure if it’s the change, or if he’s being under-watered. Before I dump some blue fertilizer water on him. Can anyone give advice or thoughts on why he’s so unhappy?

Someone please help🥲 I’ve had Spot for 5 years already and this has never happened! All my other plants are experiencing the same thing (droopy, yellow leaves) but I’m not sure why. I water once a week and give it plenty of fertilizer. I checked the roots but didn’t find any root rot. Should I cut all the vines down?? I don’t know what to do anymore🥺

Both my pothos and my young monstera now have leaves that look like this. Plants seem otherwise healthy, but this issue is persistent. Any thoughts?

Newer to plants and gotta say I don't believe people when they say get a spider plant it's easy you can't kill them. I've killed several so far and desperately trying not to kill this on too. Any ideas why the leaves are floppy and curling? The brown tips are soft not crispy (note I just watered)

Any tips on how to keep this plant warm ? I believe the browning of the leaves are bc of the cold from my home? You can’t really tell but the taller leaves are starting to turn a little yellow. For context I’m a flight attendant and live alone so I’m not really able to control the temp of my home when I’m away. I was thinking about getting a grow light? But idk if that’ll help

My begonia’s leaves are starting to yellow. There are three whole leaves affected and some tips. There are also black tips on some leaves (not all). It would seem to me that maybe I’m watering wrong, but I water once a week when the soil is dry which lines up with the planta notification. Black tips I know is humidity, but it sits right next to a humidifier that’s on for most of the day, 40-60% humidity. It sits in a window that gets some direct and some indirect light. No roots are coming out of the bottom and there’s no funky smell. I don’t see any pests. What am I doing wrong? I’ve had it since July and have never had any issues before. She’s my pride and joy 🥺 could it just be that it’s winter?

Just cut off a bunch of dead and crunchy off my dieffenbachias. The bigger one I noticed the stalks/stems were getting very floppy and the soil level was very low, so I topped it off with about 2 inches of my soil mix to give it some structure. The big one used to be so beautiful and full. I’ve attached pics of her current pitiful sad state and the beautiful glorious plant she used to be. But lately all my plants look like hell with the winter air. Can I just twitch my nose or click my ruby red slippers together so it can be spring already haha. I need real sunshine and humidity stat! Also, I have a dieffenbachia reflector that is in pon. It’s really been doing great, but I purchased it off marketplace inside a cup and it was already in pon. I’m not familiar with it and want to know if someone can walk me through the steps to move it over to soil where I’m more comfortable, cause it’s getting a little big for the cup right now I think.

The day has come, my first pest problem. Brown soft scale:( An help and advice is greatly appreciated. And maybe some encouragement. The only rooms I can quarantine in get down to 50 degrees F and have poor lighting. Are all my plants going to get it? Will they die? How hard is this to get rid of? 😭 So far found signs on weeping fig, bop, English ivy, pothos, monstera

What kind of bugs are these? Are they just young gnats? I can’t find any signs of bugs on the actual plants. I find these bugs in the trays of about 6 different plants, they vary in sizes and there were about 3 white ones under one plant. I have some gnats flying around. Please help! Thank you!

Please help - yellow leaves on formerly thriving pothos ): It's been growing consistently for at least 6 months. It started to appear overwatered so I stopped watering as frequently. Could it change so drastically from underwatering?

Trying to help my daughter with some plants she has at work. Is this calcium deposits or a type of mold? She says the water is hard there. She has already thrown one bamboo stalk out. Will need to zoom in a bit on photos. Thanks for any thoughts!!

Can anyone help me with my Norfolk Pine? I brought it to a friend and she said it had root rot so I trimmed the dying branches off but it still looks pretty bad. It also has some girdling on the bottom near the branches? Some of the branches are drooping
