This is Carlita 🩷. I got her from Walmart about a month ago and it said she was periwinkle. I keep her on my porch with my other plants and the last week she’s started fading around the edges and I have seen two small holes on her leaves. I’m wondering could this be from pests or am I not meeting her light needs.

*sorry about the pic quality* Hi everyone! My Avocado is being dramatic! She has been doing amazingly so far and I've been chopping her back to encourage newer and bushier growth which has been going well however all of a sudden this morning I noticed a couple of newer leaves looking like this. Almost like theyre soggy.. The leaves with dry ends I'm aware are just down to me not giving her a drink in time in the past but she always replaces them once I realise however these are the opposite. I haven't changed her watering schedule and still stick to making sure I check her soil before giving her any more. She gets a liquid feed now and then during the summer (if you can call it summer in Scotland) and she is in a well draining perlite mix to avoid root rot. She's currently in our kitchen window which provides part sun and shade with small amounts of full sun in the morning if we get good weather. Our plants seem to love the kitchen thanks to the steam from cooking. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

My Frizzle sizzle has dropped. Is there a problem? Or has it begun dormancy?

Noticed a “white powdery ring” around an Anemone plant at the base/mulched area (see photo). I watered over a few days ago only to see it reappear. I inspected the leaves and noticed “holes” but no evidence of any moving insect creature front nor backside of leaves. Seeking help as to what this “white powdery” reappearing ring around the base/mulch could be and preferred treatment.

Hi, I noticed these little white clusters (eggs?) on my creeping fig (I think). Does anyone know what pest it is? Thank you!

I've inherited this amazing Umbrella tree from my partners late Grandparent. She was left sitting in a vacant building for about 3 years without water. We took her home last Saturday and her stems have not been doing great! Some of her leafs have started to wither and some leaf stems have turned brown. Her soil has been changed and given a drink of water but no improvement over the last couple of days and more leafs are wilting. Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Really don't want to lose her!

Hi all! New plant parent & I just got an aloe plant a week ago. It’s got a brown spot growing on its far right leaf, and I’m figuring it’s overwatering. Any thoughts otherwise? For context, it is in potting soil with extra drainage, on my west facing balcony (gets direct sun starting at 12ish until the sun goes down), and I had to move it out of the sun due to high winds for the last 2 days. Thank you!

Can someone help please!! I’ve had this plant for about 2 months and it’s still alive but this is what it looks like.. Everytime it grow a new leaf it eventually just dies off. When I first got it it was so full and pink. I don’t know what to do.. Is the pot to big? I want to save this pretty baby.

Sudden wilting and dried leaves on lemon sprouts — advice? Two of my lemon tree sprouts suddenly wilted and developed dried-up leaves overnight. When I removed them from their pots, the roots looked mostly healthy, though there were some signs of what I suspect was root rot. I trimmed the damaged roots and repotted them in fresh soil. Is it too late to save them, or is there still a chance they’ll bounce back? Should I let them sit in dry soil for a day before watering, or water them right away? For context, I have six other lemon seedlings from the same lemon that look perfectly healthy. They’re all under a grow light for 12 hours a day. Could it be that they’re not drying out properly because they’re not getting enough warmth, like they would from the sun? I use a water meter before watering to avoid overwatering, so I’m confused by how quickly this decline happened. Sorry if this is a bit rambling—I’m just trying to figure out what went wrong so I can prevent it in the future!

Hi, I have a Chinese Evergreen and it is losing all of its leaves. They turn yellow first and then drop the leaves. I have it near a window with indirect light. Thank you.

I got this fern Saturday, why is it sad? Also I don’t know the name of it to add it to my collection. It was outside whole day yesterday, I brought it in and watered it and it’s still the same.

Halp! My dieffenbachia is doing rough after a hard repot. I got her from target (first mistake) about 3 months ago. She had to be treated for spider mites. After they were treated, it was finally time to repot. She was way overgrown in the pot she came in. I say it was a hard repot because it was super stressful - rots were packed with soil, so they had to be soaked to break it up. Roots were exposed. I did not see root rot while re-planting. I was expecting high stress. She’s in a bigger home now, but the stress is A LOT. Any tips to help her through it? Waterings have been regular and on schedule, sunlight is enough.
