I have a polkadot plant that is already lost two of its stems and now it’s leaning over the side. Do you think it’s dead? Or is there something I could do to save it? I moved it to a brighter spot.

Help! Do I have spider mites on my yucca? 😩
Hii :) does anyone know if the crinkled leaf edges on this baby are part of normal plant growth? Should I cut them? The plant has multiple healthy new leaves growing, so it’s living well, but are these dried leaves a sign that it needs to be watered more, or should I move it? It gets a decent amount of water since it’s in my bathroom where there’s more humidity, however there is no window so it only gets artificial light. Any thoughts?
I’ve had Orkee for over a year now, and I want to keep them desperately! I got them around the same time a family member passed on and I have found some new motivation these past few months to keep them alive. The thing is I have no clue what to do about the dry leaf? I don’t know if I should cut it or if I should let it be. I also have a plans to move them to an all water vase for them to stay fully hydrated. (Inspiration from an Instagram post saying that you can leave orchids in water without changing it out, but it seems like it’s for healthy plants only?) What do y’all recommend? I want to make sure Orkee is thriving asap 💞 thank you!!
My cactus keeps getting these little tiny fuzzy white dots on it. I have scrubbed it with a toothbrush and vinegar water but it just comes back. The cactus seems to be unbothered. Any idea what I should do?
#MajestyPalm, New plant mom. I notice these spots are starting to appear, what is this? What can I do to prevent further happenings? Any suggestions or tips?
Is this root rot???
My (I think) parlor palm has gotten very brown and crispy. What am I doing wrong?
Is this root rot on my snake plant??? Its leaves were drooping even before I repotted it a month ago and its leaves were wrinkly and it turns out it was because the soil wasn’t thick enough to hold the water long enough for the roots to absorb it. I repotted it into chunkier but still airy soil. I watered it 2-3 days ago and it’s kind of dark but not soggy at all, only a little moist. I only water my snake plant when the soil is completely bone dry all the way through.
This yellow “leaf” isn’t crunchy . It’s soft and smooth like the others . I don’t remember it being there a couple of days ago, should I chop it off?
Hi guys I’m pretty new to this app! We recently moved and the previous owner left a few of her plants one of them being a Christmas cactus. She did take many cuttings off of it and when we moved in it wasn’t doing so well. More recently the leaves have been getting covered in a waxy layer then slowly dying leaving like a crispy wax shell. I’m not sure what it is but I figured k would reach out seeing as google doesn’t have many results. Here are a few photos:
Need help/suggestions… I am not sure of the problem with my white bird of paradise plant but there are multiple leaves with crunchy hard solid white areas. Has anyone seen this before? TIA!
I’ve made a post about this some time ago and my plant still hasn’t gotten better. the leaves are slowly dying but the plant made babies? I’m not sure how to take care of them so they don’t die too. please help 🙏
Can anyone advise??? My mum bought em this for Mother’s Day. Since it’s come home Its developed yellow tips and splayed it a bit more. Any suggestions? Should I repot as I feel the pot is rather small. I’ve only just moved it to a window in the kitchen where it gets warmer and more humid so it couldn’t be down to too much sunlight!
Hey guys! I need help! My ginseng ficus, bonsai tree (I think that’s what it is) is dying, there is a before and after photo. The leaves were dusty so I rinsed them under some soft water and then the leaves started all turning brown shortly after. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it back to healthy? I’m so sad.
I’ve had some problems with one of my Lilly’s and this app told me to remove it and trim the roots. I’ve taken Lilly out today to see what the score is with the roots and I was expecting to see a ton of roots but this is all that’s there. I don’t actually think it’s dead but what do you think? There’s like 4 roots there
Leaf started growing and Im not exactly sure whats wrong it was all a beige looking color and today developed that darker brown on it ?
I cannot win for losing with my fuchsia! I’m at a total lose! The second pot was for reporting her once she was adjusted to my home, but she has never adjusted! I’m paranoid I’m over watering her, but she perks up every time I water her which is weekly, so IDK?!? Every guide I read says don’t water fuchsias this often, but I see a positive reaction when I do, but every week she seems to get worse! Do they always perk up right after getting water even if they’re being overwatered?! Her leaves feel dry and brittle, and they aren’t yellowing, they’re just dying! What am I doing wrong?! Yes, I’m still fairly new to plant care. My mom has a brown thumb so we never kept plants, but all the plants I care for EXCEPT this one are doing great as far as I can tell. Lots of flowering, getting bigger by the day, and then this one just looks so sad! I’m just lost and it’s breaking my heart to see her looking so sad!
whats wrong with my philodendron jose buono? humidity stays between 70-80%, temp stays between 65-73 degrees F, gets 12 hours of light a day. soil is not wet, but it is damp. producing new growth from the top. the curling of the leaves is sudden and two of the smaller leaves yellowed out completely. help!!
A little less than a year ago I snipped off the top of my Ficus Audrey to promote branching and I now have two new branches with lots of very healthy leaves! However… I am noticing that the branches are very thin near where I initially cut from. I am worries that with all the new growth the stems will not be able to support the weight of new leaves. I have a wooden dowel to support the trunk but I am still worried. Any ideas on how to bulk up branch thickness? Should I hang tight and see what happens or just chop it off again and hope it grows back stronger next time?
