My fiddle leaf fig has been doing SO well but today I noticed the soil has small black bugs crawling (gross) Does anyone know what they could be (Google said maybe fungus gnats) or how to get rid of them ?!?

I just noticed these white spots on my paddle plant. They wipe off and I think they are just some powder from the stem of the plant, but I wanted to check what other people think. could they be a pest?
does anyone have any advice on what to do with this plant? I got it from my grandma and I’m not sure if I should just leave it how it is, or cut it and try to grow new roots
I need major help with my pink dragon alocasia 🥲 ever since I’ve gotten her, she’s slowly started having her leaves droop and turn yellow, idk what she needs!! I’m going to cut the yellow leaves off, but she’s potted in leca, she’s placed in my little greenhouse with high humidity, and she has grow lights directed towards her. Please help 🥹
Does this look like eggs? My room is apparently a fungus gnat oasis 😑
My soil is growing mold! Does anyone have any idea if this is okay and if I should leave it alone? Or should I scoop it up and discard? Completely replace the soil? Any ideas are helpful! Thank you! P.s. both pots have plenty of drainage between the perlite and the orchid bark mixture I only water when the soil is dry but the mold just popped up recently
what is this, and how can i fix it? ** note in the VERY early stages of getting into this so i basically know nothing :)
I got a spider baby from my grandmas spider plant and plopped it in some soil. Why are some of the leaves folded?
Help me with gnats!!! please 😭😭 I’ve tried everything i know. Sticky traps, apple cider vinegar with dish soap, neem oil, and mosquito bits. they KEEP reproducing and they’re staring to attack my face it’s so annoying 🥲 how are you gonna infest my plants and then attack me ??😒 i’m so done with them. it’s gotten to the point that i’ve been sleeping at my boyfriends house because they are that irritating. if someone has something that’s really worked for them or any advice, i would reallyyyy appreciate it so much.
If anyone has any tips for lavender please help! I’ve had her almost 2 weeks (I’m really new to owning plants) she got extremely overheated outside so I moved her in and put her under a grow light and that helped a lot but she has a lot of dead leaves. Should a trim them off or leave them alone? She’s really temperamental
My husband was spraying some ants and I think some spray got on my polka dot hypoestes. It had peppermint oils and geranoil in it. Now my plant looks like this, is it savable??
I just got this plant and it’s brown underneath and the roots are rlly long and was smooshed into the plastic pot in came in. Any advice on what I should do?
Hey all! I just got this beautiful philodendron splendid and was curious if these are pests or anything i should worry about.. if you look at the pictures you can kinda see little dot like holes, some yellow spots scattered, and there were like little sap looking drops (i washed the leaves with water so you can’t see them in the picture) Last thing… what kind of soil mix should i use? Currently in a mix of what looks like dirt and perlite 😂 Thanks in advance!!
What do I do with this thing? I'd like to try and save it and not toss it. It said it needed high humidity so I literally had it next to my humidifier. Out of direct sun but near a plant light and I watered it with filtered water when Planta told me but not if it was still drenched. What the heck?
I am trying to keep some house plants alive and bought this app to help, but not sure what is going on and what to do with this Lemon Lime Dracaena. I thought it first was overwatered since that’s what the app diagnosed it as and then I put it under a grow light - now I have more spots. Any suggestions?
Can anyone recommend a good humidifier method for extremely tall plants? For reference, I have a fiddle leaf fig that is over 11ft tall & has recently started showing some minor signs of damage from dry air on some of the leaves. My apartment’s AC system runs very dry & as we approach the summer months the AC will definitely be running much more often. I’ve set up my humidifier on a tall ladder next to the tree to allow the moisture to flow from the top down for the time being; however, I’m looking for a more practical solution here. Thanks!! :)
Hello! I have a cactus that’s growing a very nice healthy top but it’s getting bigger than the base and I’m worried it’s going to fall over. However, I’m not sure how to support it without damaging the spikes on it. What should I do?
Please someone… what are these in my tomato plants. They grew overnight. Should I pluck or replant?
Help! My orchid had a terrible root rot problem and I cut off almost every root because it had rot, it was perfectly fine for awhile but now it’s getting sad and has lost a leaf 😢
Hi everyone! This is my baby rubber plant. I have them on my desk, which is located in front of my window (southwest facing). I recently noticed their leaves started looking like what you see in the photo. I’m not exactly sure what the problem is. I usually water them once the soil feels dry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
