These two plants (I think some kind of aloe?) are growing WAY too big. What do I do!?
I live in an apartment and my air flow and quality is terrible, I cannot keep white mold from growing on my soil after every watering. I’ve tried cinnamon, I’ve used water mixed with a bit of hydrogen peroxide, and I’ve let water sit out for 24 hrs before watering. I use a moisture meter and let my plants (maranta, pothos, Peperomia, snake) get as dry as is recommended and then wait two-three more days before watering bc of my terrible air. I move them near an open window when I can, but I live in Chicago area and can’t do that in the coming winter months. Any advice, what I can buy or do to help with this problem? Any tips appreciated, I love my plants and want to keep them alive and healthy!!
Hi friends, I recently posted about my peperomia but realize that now her roots are exposed. Does she need a bigger pot? She’s also increasingly faded and droopy. I hope she doesn’t die. I’m gonna get a different pot and see if that helps. I hope so!
I scraped off all of the fungus and mold off of my spider plant and he is looking soooo much better 😁🌱 before I got this app my plants were doing ok but now they are a lot Healthier thanks to this app!!
Thanks to someone they suggested to repot and that’s what I did now I have a healthier looking plant! Here is the before and after!
I have this moon cactus and one of its stems died and now I’m worried about it any suggestions? I am going to replant it soon because it’s still in the pot that it came with.
this is my prayer plant, and ive been trying to take better care of it but to no avail. there are small spots of brown discolouration, and entire leaves are turning yellow. please help, it was a gift from a close friend so i want to keep it healthy. i have almost no experience with plants.
Is this root rot
I love this orchid but I’m not sure what to do or if I did it right. I got some other advice to pull the plat out of the bark check and trim the roots and then plant it in new bark and trim the stem. This is what I did. There are b4 and after photos. I would like to know if I did it right and what I can do to keep this from getting worse or happening again. I will take as many tips as I can get. Please help. I took a lot of photos of the process so please click on them to see them all. Thankyou!
I need help! Is it normal that my tropic snow’s leaf 🍃 is turning yellow at the tip? Should i be worried? 🥺
Trying to rescue my Dracaena! I got it in January from the grocery store. Lately it’s tips have been browning more than usual. I chopped off all the browned bits, and decided to try to repot it into a nursery pot with drainage holes. I had to cut off the plastic pot it was in only to discover it was inside yet another plastic pot underneath that one. This pot does have drainage… sort of. Should I leave it in this? Or repot it with new soil and everything? It has some roots poking out that look decent but the soil at the base looks really wet.
Hello everyone. I’m new to the app but hoping for some advice on this plant and it’s yellowing leaves. Any help would be appreciated!
I forgot to water my orchid for 5 weeks! It is starting to die. What should I do? I got it from a store and it says to put 3 ice cubes in a week. I quickly put in 3 ice cubes. What should I do now?
hey y’all - will neem oil help with this problem? 😅
Can anyone help me with this. The leaves are turning yellow and I’m following the Planta schedule.
Wife noticed about a dozen of these ant/tick looking bugs on our spider plant this morning. It was difficult to get a good photo and this is the first seeing them on any of our indoor plants. Any idea what they are and how to remove/prevent them? Thank you!
This is Fred (photo 1). I rescued Fred and Ginger (photo 2) about six months ago and they were in bad shape with brown spot they we’re root bound. I treated and repotted them, and they’ve been thriving ever since. Until five days ago. Fred started drooping. I tested the soil and it was dry, so I watered them. But we’re four days in and he’s still drooping. Ginger, on the other hand, never drooped and is super happy. And they’re in on pot together. Does anyone have any insights? I don’t want to lose Fred! 🙏🏼 Thanks ahead of time!
Anyone have an effective way to get rid of fungus gnats? Does sticky tape actually work? Is there anything I can put in the soil to stop them laying eggs? What about a carnivorous plant?
I think I burnt my precious Pinky baby. Last night, she was closer under the grow light, so her leaves burnt. Now, I have her this far from the grow light. Is this still too much?
