is the browning of these stems normal? also would you recommend cutting back the aerial roots?

This is my roommate’s plant, I never owned a plant and I want to save this thing it’s too cool looking. The tips of the leaves are turning brown and the bottom ones are straight up dead. What should I do?

My banana tree condition is worsening. Dr plant told me the problem was overwatering and lack of light. I am following the app’s watering schedule and added growth lights. But it’s getting worse. Any ideas?

Heya! Found this white mark, it’s chalky and you can scratch it away and there’s nothing underneath it, could it be stagnant water or powdery mildew?

My fiscus audrey has been growing like crazy, but is also getting brown tips and then dropping the leaves. Is this normal with new growth or is there an underlying issue?

Is this Scale? I’ve never seen scale in person before, and I don’t know what else this could be.. I’ve had this Mint Adansonii for a few months, under a grow light 12 hours a day. Watered when the pot feels light, maybe once a week, fertilized every other watering. From a reputable grower who never has pests, and no other plants where this was kept show any signs of pests/ damage.

I’ve had this prince orange philodendron for about 3 weeks now, and one of the leaves now looks like this. The others don’t, and I haven’t seen anything like it before. It looks like part of the leave is soaked, but it’s not. Any ideas what’s going on with this leaf? What can I do?

Any idea what happened to this plant? The soil is very moist ...Thank you🙏

My zz plant is yellowing I haven’t watered it in about a month because it loves drought am I underwatering it or over watering?

Can someone please explain to me why all the new growth on my money tree is looking like this? I haven’t repotted so I’m not sure what the root system looks like. I had to remove 2 stems when I bought it because they were mushy and rotting. I keep the soil moist and this is still happening

what is wrong with my ponytail palm? some of the leaves are brownish towards the end, but i’ve only had it for about a week so idk if it’s really my doing (i saved it from a hardware store lol). does anyone have any tips to reduce brown ends?

My mini orchid has had several leaves turn yellow and whither. I have two others that are doing fine and all 3 are under grow lights. This is the third leaf that has turned yellow. What is wrong?

I got this Stromanthe Triostar 6 days ago delivered from Amazon. It looked fine when I first got it. But yesterday I noticed the leaves are starting to curl and there’s a light brown spot starting on the side of one of the leaves. I have it under a grow light, the soil is still a little damp from when I first watered it. Is this happening to the leaves because it’s adjusting to the new environment or stressed from the shipping? Or am I doing something wrong, like not enough light or something? The first picture is when I first got it, and the second picture is what it looks like now.

Could I get some advice please? I recently had fruit-fly looking bugs in the soil of all my indoor plants. So I have repotted them all with my all purpose potting soil bought from amazon 🙃 I used this potting soil before for other indoors plants and they seemed to LOVE it!! However, this beauty is struggling for some reason and I can’t tell why 😔 I’m not even sure how much she’s struggling as she’s got new leaves coming up at the same time (the very long one at the top middle is very new) So my questions are: Why do you think the leaves are yellowing? (I already cut out 2-3 yellow leaves 2 days ago) Is my plant dying or just in shock from the repotting? / how can I reduce stress on it?

This is my beautiful bonsai. I was on holiday that was supposed to last a week but ended up being 3 weeks and I had no one to take care of my bonsai. When I came back it had a lot of dead leaves and the leaves had changed colour! I’ve pruned off the dead leaves but I was wondering is there anything I can do to help it? Or is this normal? It wasn’t this colour before!

My schefflera plant Lovera is dying and I don't know what to do. I had her for 7 years and I may have over watered her when going on vacation off and on for 2 months. Majority of the leaves fell, and the leaves were droopy. But I took her to a garden house and they said she was under watered and needed a smaller pot. When I gave her a smaller pot and fertilized her... replaced her and watered her. Her seems to be getting worse. Now the branches are getting soft. The water is not drying and they are starting to turn yellow. I don't know if I should prune and cut what I can into a nursery or try to dry the soils, repot with dry soil and leave the original soil to the bottom. I'm so worried for her cause i grew her from a toddler.

I repotted this pearls and jade about a week ago and it’s leaves and stems have these spots on them and look like they are wilting. Is it just in shock or is it something else?

Anyone have any advice for my poor string of pearls? I got her abt three weeks ago, did a bunch of research on repotting and waited until the roots were long enough to repot. She’s in a peat moss soil with a bottom watering pot, but I discovered mold on the soil this morning! TIA 🫶🏼
