I was fertilizing Benji when I saw a little bug on the bottom of the pot. I lost it so I wasn't able to get a photo of it. It kinda looked like a fruit fly, so it may just be that, but idrk, I've never had pests before so I'm not sure. Benji is one of my healthiest plants so I don't think it would be pests but just making sure. Help pls!
So I just recently had a very severe under watering problem with my bonsai treeā¦ it has gotten so much better on the past 2 daysā¦. But basically all the leaves have fallen off of the tree. Whatās going on?
Hi everyone! New plant mom here and I just canāt get this sweet baby back to how he used to look. Iāve tried everything from repotting to fertilizing (advice from another plant mom) and he still looks so sad :( can anyone help??
One of my ficus has had this since I got her about a year ago. It hasnāt sprouted any new leaves and I feel like itās because this little piece got stuck or never finished growing. Should I cut it off? Is there anything I can do for it? She otherwise very healthy, sheās been repotted (about 4 months ago?), and doesnāt show any signs of root rot.
Hi all! Iām having some issues with gnats from my plants when they get watered? Iāve opted to use watering bulbs and thatās reduced it a lot since the stop soil isnāt moist. But unsure how to completely get rid of it. Would I need to just repot with new soil?
Iāve seen these over the last few weeks in the soil of my Dieffenbachia. Iāve heard mixed responses as to what they may be (friend or foe) and recently Iāve noticed more of them, especially after watering. *they curl up when touched it that helps Any idea what they may be? Any solutions for getting rid of them? Should I isolate this plant as to not infect my others? Any help would be greatly appreciated š

hello friends <3 iām very new to taking care of plants, and i was unaware of how fast my maidenhair fern could deteriorate!!! she was doing so well the first few weeks i had her!!! she was sprouting new fronds like crazy. I misted her leaves twice a day and watered her lightly every other day with cycled deep waters. i forgot to water her for three days, and now her fronds are curling and browning. is this from lack of water or maybe a moisture change? weāve had the windows open the past two days and there has been a gentle breeze. i checked her roots and there are no signs of rotā¦ so iām really at a loss. i saw she was declining yesterday and gave her a good soak. she hasnāt seem to have gotten better or worse. any feedback really helps! i wanna keep her alive and thriving ā¤ļøāš©¹ā¤ļø
Any suggestions on how to get a jalapeƱo plant to bear peppers? Weather has been high 70s most of the time and full sunlight, not sure if the right climate is off or if thereās other reasons they might not be growingā¦
My Kolanchoe hasnāt bloomed in 2 years, but leaves look great. I feed it during warm months. I canāt figure out why not? No bugs on it at all. My anthurium hasnāt bloomed in 2 years too. Same management.
Poor thingā¦ my Butterfly Stonecrop has been infested with mealy bugs. I acted fast and treated him by putting rubbing alcohol on the infected leavesā¦ I may have gotten a drop or two of it in the soil. Did I do the right thing??? š¢ š
today i am tackling repotting these two..wish me luck. she stopped producing new growth/started growing really slow, so iām thinking her soil is lacking nutrients, any tips?
iāve had this plant for a little bit now and iāve noticed sometimes the leaves just look, translucent/weird? itās a healthy plant producing tons of new growth with no other issues so iām confused why it acts like that š¤£ -also wanted to note that i do fertilize the plant regularly and even tried to increase the potency to see if itād help and it hasnāt
DISEASE ID HELP š„ŗ I bought this evening primrose (oenothera fruticosa) at a native plant sale last year. Itās a perennial native to Maryland. Both this year and last year, it seems to have some sort of disease that causes the leaves to turn red and eventually die. Some of the flowers have been deformed as well. Help!
