How do you prevent against spider mites? I don’t have any but I have two calatheas and I know they can be prone to them. I’m trying to be a little proactive because thats a problem I don’t want to deal with

Good morning, I have had this Alocasia for 3 months. One of the new leaves started turning yellow about a week ago and this morning seems meh. Do I trim it off or just stop watering for a few days? I think I overwatered last week. Any help appreciated! Pay no attention to the dying succulents.

Not sure if it’s a problem or not, but I’ve been seeing little mushrooms pop up in my potted plants. Is this a good thing or not? I have been plucking them out. Does anyone know anything about these guys?

they were gonna throw out this plastic plant at my work but I said I’d try to save it, I’m pretty sure it’s severely overwatered but I’m unsure… I would seriously appreciate any thoughts or advice on what I can do (or if there’s anything I can do, lol)

Every time I move my plants on my windowsill there seems to be white small bugs underneath the pots. I wipe them away and the plants themselves are fine and not riddled with pests. I’m so confused as to what it might be. This only happens in the summer when my windows are open. Any ideas?

Gnats. Gnats. And more gnats. My spider and pothos plants are unhappy. Tried Neem oil, repotting, putting some wine and Dawn in a small dish covered with plastic wrap near them to trap the gnats (pictured near pothos). What am I missing?

I’ve had milkweed in my yard for years but I noticed this year, there is blackness and deformity on the buds and top leaves of some of the plants. Any idea what this might be? It looks like maybe a fungus? Thanks!

I recently bought my first birds nest fern and I was searching care tips when i saw a youtube video that says a blackened middle/leaves means a ruined plant and was wondering how accurate that is?

So I rescued and split up these two plants about a week ago. But in the last couple days the one has leaves turning yellow. No pests that I found. Any ideas? Should I just take the leaves off & hope the others don’t do the same? Or are they savable still? The new leaf on the younger one is yellowed too šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Super excited to have been gifted with this Peperomia. She’s in a west facing bathroom window. The window has privacy film so it’s indirect light. She’s very damp and I don’t think she needs to be repotted right now. I want to be proactive to avoid problems - all advice is appreciated!

I got my jade plant in April from my local supermarket, and it was pretty small when I got it. It’s been in perfect health from then and is growing fast. The other week I noticed a small patch of white mould growing, I think it’s grown off a dead jade leaf lying in the soil. I don’t know if it had fallen off into the pot from another jade plant at the supermarket, because none of the leaves seem to have fallen off my one. I left it to see if it went away, or if the plant/soil would absorb it. It is still here, should I remove it or just leave it?? (Sorry for blurry photo)

Hey everyone I have question, so I have a Alocasia plant. She was in soil at first then I repotted to leca in a mason jar. she was doing amazing. She pushed 3 new leaves, but one didn’t make it (1 inch growth) I repotted her again thinking it was because she wanted more room to grow & the roots grew to the water mark, and now the two new leaves are about 2 inches one is falling over to the side. And other mature leaves are yellowing on the tips & mushing away. What do I do ? Please help
