My HLP isn’t doing 100%… Some of her leaves are getting a bit curled, and her recent leaves are not coming out variegated. I think I may not be giving her enough light, but this is the only place I can keep her. Though, I was also considering it being underwatering. Thanks!

hey y’all! I just got this little guy, and after about a week he has gotten these big brown spots on only one leaf. I haven’t repotted it and since it’s cold it’s spent days in the sun and nights back in the house. Can somebody tell me why this is happening?

I’m extremely new to this plant father thing; I was wanting to know if this is a normal growth on a Devotion succulent. (In a smaller terrarium)

Not sure, but I think this is NOT GOOD It looks like my Bird of Paradise’s new leaf is opening too early. And since it hasn’t cleared the base-area-part (🤨🤷🏻‍♂️🤨) yet, it’s really straining the plant. Worried it might tear… A little background: been fiddling with mini humidifiers to balance out the mini heaters I got to counter the cold weather. (Yeah…this BoP is spoiled). Still don’t think I’ve found a “sweet spot” yet… And was just out of town for 10 days… So she’s definitely pissed… Any advice? Thank you!!

I’m having an outbreak of gnats, does anyone have a great way to get rid of them? I have had sticky traps up for a week, and I watered with a gnat killing drop.

I’ve been treating this plant for what looks like spider mite damage, and just saw this dude cruising around this morning. I didn’t think spider mites were big enough to see with the naked eye. Is this a spider mite? (Pics are max zoom on my aged phone)

Fusarium stem rot or Erwinia soft rot is affecting my Dieffenbachia! I’m researching online how to save my plant. Curious if anyone has been through this before. This plant is 4 years old, repotted once last year and sits in a pot with drainage and a soil mixture appropriate for dieffenbachias. Sits indoors, but I live by the ocean in Los Angeles and it’s been cloudy a lot this fall. 🤷‍♂️

What are these brown spots on my white wizard? I read it could be normal due to the white parts not having chlorophyll? But the posts I read regarding that referred to the brown spots as being hard and crispy, but the ones are mine are soft, as if the leaf is rotting. Is it normal or is there an issue?

Hey everybody, I’ve just noticed the base of my asparagus fern has quite a few webs. I can’t see anything crawling around and the plant itself is healthy. Do we think this is a general spider or spider mites or something of the sort? Many thanks,

Just received this Stromanthe Triostar (Stromanthe sanguinea). It has brown shimmery patches on the underside of multiple leaves. Other plants that were shipped with it had similar problems too. Any ideas what it is? Thanks

Does this adansonii have mealybugs? This plant seems like it’s doing well but when I looked closer i saw some white residue and damage. I’m spraying with insecticidal soap and hoping for the best

My mom had recently asked me to take care of her plant for her, shes had it ever since 2018-19 I believe. When she asked me to take care of it I realized its in pretty bad condition. It is a candle plant. Some of its leaves are yellow and brown, so I decided to do some deadleafing. The only problem is its “branches” break really easily. I named the plant Artis, he droops down from the pot as well. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to give him a little succulent makeover lol.

Help! Can someone tell me if my Dragon tree will grow back? I realized she was not getting proper lighting due to my husband closing the blinds during the day.... I pruned the ends but I'm not sure if that will help

My striped Calathea suddenly started shriveling up! I haven’t changed anything about my watering schedule the only thing I can think of is that it’s getting colder and dry here in the winter. Maybe it needs more humidity or to be in a warmer room? Thoughts? Help me save it!

My marble pothos has been looking very sad for a week now… as you can see in the previous photo, it was very lively. It has been with me for years and I’m hoping I can get it back to how it looked. I started seeing a lot of yellows and droopy leaves so I repotted it, and moved the pot to a location further away from my heater. I also thought it maybe overwatered too… Does anyone know why my pothos leaves are turning yellow?

Has anyone ever tried beneficial nematodes to get rid of gnats? I have tried EVERYTHING and they just keep coming back. I hadn’t seen them in a couple months and what do you know they are back!!! I read that beneficial nematodes work wonders but I am a little freaked out by the idea. Please let me know!
