I’m having an outbreak of gnats, does anyone have a great way to get rid of them? I have had sticky traps up for a week, and I watered with a gnat killing drop.

I had a terrible gnat problem that was cured by: 1. Repotting to new soil 2. Using mosquito bits for watering once a month 3. Covering the top soul layer with decorative pebbles. I now enjoy my plants without screaming at the gnats. Good luck.
1 LikeMosquito Bits worked into the soil and in the watering works very well. Also, gnats thrive on slow drying soil. Reduce excess water, get good air circulation and ensure the pot/soil has good drainage. Ensure the pot size fits the root ball. Excess soil holds too much water that the roots can’t use. It just rots the roots and feed insect larvae.
2 LikesA combo of everything works best for me. Btw miraclegro tends to bring them in, so keep an extra eye on freshly potted plants!
2 LikesHappy Happy Houseplant sells a great product called Fungus Gnat Death Drops. You mix a couple drops in with every watering.
