My lovely, infuriating cat climbed onto a shelf he’s never thought of going to before and knocked my nerve plant to the ground. 90% of my plant broke off 😭.
This is what is left - one stalk that is broken but has leaves, one stalk that is bare but looks like it has two new leaflets coming out, and one stalk that has one big leaf and two sets of baby leaves.
What’s the best way to help her recover?

I need URGENT HELP I moved on Friday and ever since I moved all my plant’s leaves have been dying off, his roots are brown and lifts out the pot very easily (he didn’t before) is this stress or something more intense? (Picture below) do I need to repot? He has new leaves growing so I’m confused

Hi Planta Community,
I have just recently (after a couple months of serious effort) reduced our fungus gnat problem by 99.9% I just a fresh set of these yellow sticky traps for diagnostic purposes - they’ve been on for two days (yay no gnats) but I’ve noticed these tiny tiny tiny bugs on them. Some plants more than other as u can see from the photos. We have about 20 plants about half have none at all I’d say 5 have barely any and the other 5 have some to a lot stuck on the sticky traps - I used the same bag of sand for all of our plants to lay a thin layer to help with the gnat problem so I don’t think these tiny bugs are coming from the sand. Are they harmful or just tiny soil bugs and even perhaps beneficial? The fungus gnat problem is contained for the time being so I don’t want to hurt these little babies if they aren’t causing harm. Please lmk! Thanks in advance

Hi all. I got this ruby ficus around 3 months ago but have had no growth so far. I’ve changed the soil/pot twice and moved it twice all in hopes of giving it the best conditions to thrive. In this current spot it has been here for around 4-5 weeks. It sits about 2-3 feet away from a FET grow bulb receiving 3000 lux for 12 hours a day. I do fertilize when i water. Currently it sits in an aroid mix 30% perlite, soil and orchids bark. I am wondering for those who have had success growing this ficus what should I be doing different? Any advice appreciated thank you so much!

Hi everyone!
I’ve been religiously watering my Desert Gold Peach Tree for months whenever the Planta app told me however it looks really sad, see pics below.
I can’t tell if it’s over-watered or under-watered. My gut feel is that it lacks water looking at the leaves and given the really sunny whether but I’m no expert at all..
Any tips?
Thanks!

Hi everyone, I think I may have killed my basil🫣 I’ve been growing it outside (New England area) and it was thriving. Then I tried harvesting some of the basil. I watched videos online telling me to cut off some of the stalks above the node and trimmed it down some. Since then, it’s been turning brown and dropping leaves. There are still a few green stalks on the plant, but they’re all growing out of brown stalks. Does anyone know what I did wrong? Is there any hope for her, or is she definitely dead?

My Calathea suddenly looks extremely sick indeed. I investigated it and found thrips which I’ve showered off and treated the plant with some houseplant bug killer (I don’t like using this but it was a last resort!)… sadly the plant has just looked more sick over the last couple of days so is it time to throw out, or do I have other options? I was thinking of cutting all the leaves back and seeing if anything new sprouted? I’ve done this to a devils ivy in the past and it’s now the healthiest looking plant you’ve seen!!! Thanks for your help and suggestions

This is my first (and only) FLF. It appears to be very happy in my eastern facing dining room as it has grow 3 new leaves in the last couple of weeks. However the new growth has red spots on the leaves. Visible mostly on the underside and I don’t see any pests so I am wondering what could be causing this…or is it normal for new growth and it fades on mature leaves? I haven’t lost any leaves and the brown crispy parts were on the leaves when the plant was purchased.

Please HELP!!!
You need background info for this question, I always check my soil with chopsticks to make sure my soil is completely dry, and I add perlite and orchid bark to my soil as well.
The question is, why is only half of my soil drying out recently? The top half is dry but the bottom half will not dry out, it just started happening since i last watered my plants.

Out of no where these holes started appearing on Stephen. Theyre only on new growth, and I don’t see any signs of pests. I really haven’t changed any routines with this plant recently so I’m not sure what’s going on. How can I fix this?
