my aloe vera doesn’t look so healthy any advice on why this might be the case?? the colour difference between plant a and b is really worrying me.

My alocasia wentii has this weird markings on the stem, occasionally. Tried to scrape it off from another stem earlier and it eventually became feeble and the leaf died. Do you think it’s a pest/ fungal issue and is it potentially harmful/ contagious to other leaves? I scanned thoroughly but I found no other signs of pests. Any help in diagnosing is much appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve started seeing these dark spots on my bird of paradise. I haven’t seen any pests. Any idea what this could be? I just repotted a few weeks ago and didn’t see any sign of root rot

Recently reported an extremely root bound monstera - bought from a grad student who had never repotted it - and its older leaves are yellowing. I used a reasonably well draining mix and added more perlite for good measure. Someone tell me this is just stress and it will recover?

Help! Mealy bugs are on my Hoyas. So far I’ve used neem oil and water, dish soap, & rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and I just keep finding them. Any recommendations?

I feel insane rn I found thrips on a new plant I got (from a ‘pest-free’ plant swap :) ) they were cuttings of a philodendron red emerald, found 20 yellow larvae and a discord group confirmed were thrips. Cut all of the cuttings and put them in a closed jar and sprayed the other two plants I was quarantining in the same room. Ive dealt with thrips before so I know the drill— I didn’t see much damage on the plants and don’t see any concerning things on any of the other plants, no spots or yellowing JUST saw the larvae. Obviously im keeping them in the quarantine space for longer now, but what do you guys think as a prognosis? Also what stage of life are these guys in? I’ve had these plants for two weeks. Im hoping this was isolated and I saved my ass from another nightmare.

What are these brown spots? I bought this plant and they were already there but I feel like more are popping up? I also found this spot that looks as if it was eaten away (see second photo for reference). Thank you!

Hello! My Chinese money plant has been doing so amazingly ever since I got it a couple months ago, but if you look at one of the bottom leaves in the right picture, it has turned completely yellow and developed brown spots! What does this mean? This plant is always in my bedroom window and hasn’t seemed to have a problem, but is it too much sun? Should I remove the leaf? The soil seems to have some discoloration. There are NO pests of any kind, I make sure to water it whenever the top couple inches of soil is dry. The other left picture is the full plant, other leaves for comparison. Thank you!

Hi! I have a string of pearls plant, I watered it about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago, and it’s started looking like this ? Not sure why as it hadn’t been watered before. Some of the pearls have gone squishy and really gross. Help please 😭

Update on the the Cordyline… this worm thing came out of if… it looks like a centipede? Could this be whats causing the leafs to look splotchy? What should I do?? I don’t know if theres more either!

Heyy, I go t a majesty palm 3 months ago it was replanted in a big 50 cm planter. It didn’t have a drainage at first and we opened it up a few days ago. Ever since we got the plant the branches one by one started getting yellow first then turned brown and crispy. It has already happened to 4 branches so far :(. Don’t know what to do. It didn’t have any direct sunlight. Only indirect as I was told. And I watered it every week. The thing is I dont know how much water it needs and how often. And WHY the leaves are turning yellow and brown?
