Hi all! So I've had this plant for a little while now and it's been doing really well for a good long while. Today though I checked on it to find damage all over two leaves. They're some of the newest leaves on the plant and the only change is that I put it in a different room for a couple of days...any idea what could have happened and what I should do? Thanks

Hi! I’m new to the group and app. I have this devil’s ivy I believe, and it was lush and green 2 weeks ago, now the vines and leaves are browining and falling off. I’m lost! How do I fix it? I’ve been watering minimally, keeping it in the window for light, I believe some of the vines could have been damaged in transporting the plant, is there anything I can do to save my baby?

I have a begonia Julau that has some leaf browning. After looking at possible causes, I think I overwatered it. I was leaving for a week and didn’t want it to dry out too much so I watered a little early. It’s in a high humidity environment too and is under a grow light that is 1.5-2 feet above it. Do y’all think I have diagnosed it properly? I noticed this morning that the newest leaf has a small brown tip too :/

I repotted my elephant ear (mixed alocasia) almost a week ago and 2 out of the 4 leaves are starting to turn yellow. I’m using regular potting mix with added perlite for drainage and aeration. Does anyone know why it’s looking sad? 😔

So I’ve had this plant for a while now, and I’ve always thought that it was a Moth Orchid, please correct me if I’m wrong 😊 I was watering a bit today and I saw the yellow leaf. I know that it’s normal for longer living orchids to have yellowing leaves. Should I pluck it off so there can be new growth? Also, should I repot this? đŸ«¶đŸ»

Pinched this Dwarf Cavendish as a baby plant growing from my mums main cavendish plant. Repotted it into this terracotta pot last week but the leaves are starting to droop and turn brown. Been sticking with the Planta schedule. Am I missing something? In context, had one last year that grew healthily and suddenly dropped away and died over the winter so just making sure this new one survives!

Hydrangeas from Whole Foods, got them a month ago, they were a GORGEOUS purpulish blue. The plant feels and looks healthy, besides this weird color it’s turning into (greenish greyish color) What does this mean? What can I do to revive the color back to a beautiful blue? Thank you in advance !

đŸ‘‹đŸ» I got this zz cutting from a friend over two years ago. It hasn’t grown or changed in a long time. I thought maybe it was dead. This looks like a brain. Anyone know what’s going on here?

So for some reason my string of hearts decided to grow mushroom from the bottom, and they’re coming out the drainage holes. I took the plane out the pot to inspect the soil, there’s no root root or pests
does anyone know what’s going on?

Hey everybody! I have tons of plants and decided to challenge myself with a common ivy - Sarah. I bought her 3 weeks ago at Ace Hardware and she was gorgeous! Now lately my leaves are wilted, some crispies, and over time taking more and more leaves off. Now she looks bare! My guess I think it’s been overwatered too fast as I also had Planta do the scheduling for me and maybe too much sun? I live in a basement complex and I had her hanging until now. Can someone give me advice on this type of plant please! Thank you!

Recently brought home this silver dragon! The tips were yellowing like this when I brought it home, but hasn’t gotten worse, so I think I’m in the clear. What would have caused this?

Hello all, Last month I purchased predatory mites from Natures Good Guys and I seem to have many, many more spider mites all over my collection now than I did before. Do any of you use predatory mites ? And where do you buy them if so? I’ve been trying to clean up the infestation with alcohol and neem oil. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi everyone! My bonsai I purchased in September (unknown kind, didn’t come with care advice 😬) was doing fine until around May, and now is gradually dropping leaves. Why would it do worse in the summer?? Bonsais are outside of my limited plant knowledge
I think I’m overwatering, or is it not enough light? We’re in the US Midwest, the plant is next to a northwest facing window, and watering every few days as per Planta’s advice for a similar bonsai. Can it be saved? I’m always afraid of shocking the plant and making it worse by changing something too drastically. Thanks for any advice!

Ficus Audrey: Bought this 6’ ficus Audrey about a month ago and immediately noticed fungal gnats once I brought it home. Still trying to get rid of them with mosquitoes bit tea/soak about every 1.5 weeks and have yellow sticky’s in soil. Had to move it about 1.5 weeks ago to different house so it wasn’t continuing to infect my other plants with the fungal gnats. Gets brighter indirect light in this new location so I’m continuing to move it further away from the window (not sure if that’s the right thing to do). I let it dry out pretty well (more than half the length of the pot). Has adequate drain holes. There are these holes and brown/black spot on leaves and stems and seem to be increasing. Also noticed a larger black spot on underside of stem where it connects to leave on several leaves. These seem to be random and not on younger or older leaves. Any help is appreciated!!!!!
