The supreme self control I had to capture these thrips and put them under my microscope instead of just squeezing them into oblivion 😂 ..Anyways this is what they look like up close. Juvenile/Winged adult

What's your preferred way to get rid of fungus gnats? I've seen lots of different advice but would love to hear what's worked for you. đŸŒżđŸŽđŸŒ±

My tradescantia is really sad. I repotted it to a smaller plastic pot because it was in a too big terracotta pot that wasn’t doing it any favours. I’d cut it back and it seemed to be doing well, but now the stems are rotting at the base and coming off. I don’t want to mess with the roots again. Dr. Planta said it was overwatered (because it says that about everything) but I’m skipping waterings because the soil is still moist. Any suggestions?

I have a montera and pothos that I recently got. They are both growing a lot but I see brown holes in some of their leaves and not sure what’s going on. Any ideas?

My Alocasia Black Velvet is just over a year old, and recently she has been partially drooping. I just fertilized 3 weeks ago, watered about a week ago, and it gets very indirect light. Any idea what’s going on? Do I need to repot?

I added soil to the pot and then watered, about a week later I noticed all the bottom leaves become mushy and fall off. I took it out of the pot to see if I can save it. What do y’all think?

The leaves on my polka dot plant have been curling a little bit. I’m not sure why because it’s not under direct sunlight but rather near a growing light. Any ideas on how this problem can be fixed?

I was doing a routine morning check up on my plants and I think my Cebu Blue had something going on in the soil. Idk if you can see it well in the picture, it’s mostly on the right hand side of the pot. I was worried about spider mites but imo it doesn’t look like spider mites webbing. I considered maybe an actual spider but I poked around the leaves and don’t see anything! No movement in the soil and the plant looks to be healthy. Maybe fungus/mold? Any ideas? Or maybe it is spider mites? 😭 (btw it’s wet because I misted to see if there was fine webbing that I was missing!)
