Hi plant people, I need some help. I noticed that one of my Calathea has some unwanted visitors. I ended up putting it outside to prevent it from spreading to my other plants but now I don’t know what to do with it. Can the leaves be cleaned so I can save the plant? Or do I just cut my loses and toss it so I don’t risk it spreading to my other plants? If you know what this is, or how I can remedy the issue I would love some advice.

Hello everyone! I need help! I have a Ficus Burgundy plant which I purchased about 2 months ago. When I got her she was thriving and I’m afraid now she’s getting worse and worse. I made a few mistakes as I am a total plant beginner. First of all I repotted her for no good reason into a bigger pot. I was told that wasnt a good idea as it would be too much shock and put a strain on the plant to grow bigger roots, so I moved her back to her original pot. Now with the beginning of Fall here in Texas, she has started dropping leaves like crazy. Even though I water her about every two weeks her soil seems to always be humid. I water her like this because since her soil doesnt dry, I’m afraid of over watering. Any way, please help. I have moved her to a place with more light hoping this would stop the leaves from dropping and i thought she was doing better but she dropped another huge leaf today 😭

Hi everyone,
I’ve had this hurricane plant since when it was very little and it’s always been one of the favourites between my 15 plants. But recently the leaves started becoming faded and rotten from the main stem. Any advice why it happened and how to save it, if it still can be saved? Will appreciate any advice.

Unsure what’s going on with this Swiss Cheese plant. Just removed a whole bunch of leaves because they were all dying/dead. Just suddenly started dropping leaves out of nowhere. Have had it for a year plus and have never had this problem before with watering, etc

I repotted my geogenanthus poeppigii a few days ago and now all the stems are bending over. Last night it was only one stem but now every single stem seems to have lost structural integrity. Is this just stress from repotting? It was in terrible soil before I repotted it, so I did have to take as much of the soil off of the root ball before I repotted it.

Received this plant from an online site about site about 10 days ago. Looked crunched up from the mailing but opened up and now has these yellow leaves. Any ideas?

My string of spades is acting weird. It’s blooming so the plant is healthy and I haven’t changed the watering schedule. But the leaves are turning red. I don’t think it’s sun stress. Any ideas?

Hi! Been struggling with this rubber plant for a while now.. when I first got it it was beautiful, had a few white specs but nothing happened and then all of a sudden leaves started being covered.. tried to remove these spider mites + whatever else they are with some diluted vinegar and soap spray but nothing is really working! If anyone has experience of this problem I’d appreciate some advice. Thanks! 🥰

My monstera peru has been doing so well & put out 4 new leaves this month, but now 2 of the older leaves are yellowing. It’s new within the last week. All of the trailing leaves are connected to the same vine as the yellowing leaves, so I’m hoping to fix it!
I think this is probably from overwatering? I don’t water often, but it’s all I can think of. The leaves are just dirty in the pic after a windy day.
Should I cut the yellowing leaves? Cut more?
(Last pic is before recent growth spurt, pre-yellowing)

Taking bets on whether this will hold 😂 This philo revolution put out a new leaf but it’s cataphyll was holding on to it for dear life and wouldn’t let it pop out! I’ve never seen that! So the stem snapped but not all the way! It was still hanging on. I freed it from the monster cataphyll and used super glue and plant tape to put back together and stabilize…can’t hurt right!? 😄
