My Norfolk Island Pine has 1 bigger healthy, lush stalk and three smaller, dry stalks. The dry stalks have been this way for several weeks in spite of improved watering schedule and fertilizer. Is it okay to cut them at the soil level or will that damage the healthy main plant?

Help! I just got this stingray and it was doing fine until I repotted it and now within days it’s leaves are yellowing. I used a chunky soil, and it receives morning light and afternoon shade here in this window

My Fiddly Fig has a bad fungus gnat infestation and I’ve tried neem oil and cinnamon for a few weeks now. I think we just need a repot. BUT I just noticed two new leaves peeking out this morning. Should I wait until the leaves are established before repotting?

I got an H.F. Young Clematis a few months ago and it has been a constant battle to keep it alive. I pruned it and it seemed to be thriving but I came home one day to a stem torn out of the soil. Another day, I came home to find one that appeared cut off, and then another day I came back to find another cut in the middle but still hanging onto one of the other twining branches. It should have had 5 new stems with flowers growing but now I'm left with two. I moved it to the back where the sunlight isn't as intense and is more accessible to rain (we haven't had rain the last several days though-i've just watered them) because I believed it was being burnt by the sun as well as the marigolds I'd planted around it at the base. Now, I've discovered that all of the marigolds are dying off and I'm not sure why or how to fix it. Sorry for the darker images, I work nights and just noticed how they're doing. Edited to add that the plastic forks were inserted due to fear of squirrels vandalizing plants.

Random brown spots (not red obviously lol) keep appearing on every single caladium leaf, assuming the plant is toast but was curious if this is brown spot or something else?

Hi everyone, hope your day is going great! I was hoping to find some help with my corn plant. These spots have been coming up on the new growth. Thank you in advance.😊

I watered with distilled water but not sure why the edges are browning and crisping. Repotted like 2 weeks ago after getting from Lowe’s. It’s kept inside with light from the window as you can see

My aloe plant has developed a noticeable lean, and some of the lower leaves have wilted and died. At the same time, new pups are starting to grow. Should I be concerned about the plant’s health? Is there a way to correct the lean, or should I just reposition it and plant it a bit deeper in the pot?

Ignore how distorted the one photo is but this is how beautiful my hibiscus was when I bought it and then now when all its leaves turned yellow with brown dots and fell off all the flowers disappeared. What is wrong with it. It’s my dream plant I want her to live.

Hope everyone is doing well!! I am starting to have heck of a time battling spider mites. I think my ivy is on its last leg and fearing it’s too late. I treated it with Neem Oil, but they’re still going at it & stronger. What’s the census for battling these pests on a variety of plants?? (I think I won the mealy bug battle just as the mites turned up on other plants) All the best! šŸŒ»šŸŒž

My monster plant has been struggling with aphids and thrips. I thought I’ve gotten rid of all of them but now there are these black dots on the leaves. I think it might be scale, but I don’t know how to get rid of them.

Hey guys! This is my second Moth Orchid and I keep having the same issue. I think it’s root rot? But I’m really not sure. It looks like it’s overwatered and under watered at the same time. The roots at the top are discoloured but the ones in the soil are all pretty green. I did have to cut off a couple that were blackish. The flowers keep wilting and falling off. :( If anyone could give me some guidance I would really appreciate it!!

Has anyone seen anything like this? These are Golden Pothos cuttings that were potted earlier this year. The plant isn't showing any signs of distress but I can't tell what the heck all this green is😄 They are on a strict watering schedule and have ample drainage

A friend asked me to try to save this Yucca plant… the stem is dry and yellow, it doesn’t feel sturdy and the roots well they look bad. They are as dry as a stick. The top has some healthy green leaves so what I’m wondering is should I chop down to just the top green? OR are the roots able to be saved with new soil and water?
