I’m a little concerned about my string of dolphins… it’s been stretching out more and more over the month that I’ve had it, and I’m not sure if this should be considered leggy growth. Then a couple weeks ago most of the leaves started turning into sting rays. Also to note a couple of the interior leaves have died and shriveled up. Does anyone have any advice on what may be happening? Update: it’s in a big south facing window where it gets bright indirect light but not direct.

Help! I took my succulents from my bedroom to outside expecting they would like the sunshine. But now they’re sunburnt 😭 Is there any saving them? I plucked off brown leaves, which left the empty space in the pot.

Any idea what would cause this? I just bought this monstera from Home Depot and one leaf is super flimsy and thin feeling with black edges and then another leaf is twisted over on itself. I haven’t taken it out of its nursery out to inspect yet as im a newbie and wanted advice before I did anything. The top of the soil feels moist/dry but feeling in the hole at the bottom of the pot the soil feels wet.

Can somebody tell me what’s going on with my Swedish ivy? It’s sitting about a ft. from an east facing window with moderate sunlight and up until a couple weeks ago has been thriving. I went out of town for five days and watered the morning before I left. When I came back I noticed some of the leaves were turning black. It seems to have gotten worse since I’ve been back over the last couple of weeks. I’ve kept a careful eye on it and made sure to keep up on watering schedule, etc. Does anyone have any advice? Is this from lack of water? Over watering? All of a sudden, too much sunlight or something? It may be worth noting that when we arrived home, the air felt very stale in the house due to lack of ventilation because no one was home. I have multiple other plants in the same area, along my kitchen counter and they all appear to be doing great.

Any idea if this fungus looking stuff in my soil is a problem?? I’ve noticed it in a select few of my plants soil, but the plants themselves seem fine.

I placed my plants (this is one of two) outside about two months ago, and it is flourishing, but I’m noticing that the root on some stems creates that black tarnish look and starts to fall off. Do you know what that may be from?

Help please! I went back home from a holiday for 2 weeks and found my Alocacia leaf turning this colour. This happened before for one of its small leaves and died. I noticed it drooped as well. Can’t figure out What’s the problem…last time I watered was before leaving for my holiday and I just measured soil moisture and don’t think it needs watering at the moment. I love this plant so much and I need help keeping it alive 😢

Help!! 😭😭 I bought this beautiful silver sword philodendron over the weekend and it was so healthy but unfortunately I had to run an errand and left it in the car for 15 minutes in the heat and it killed one leaf and caused damage to the others. I gave it some time for the leaves to rest and it the others improved except for the one that is clearly dead. My question is, do I chop any of this off? And if so, where? Or do I let it do its thing and see what happens?

I just got this monstera about a month ago and I’ve been watering every 10 days as the person who sold it to me told me to. Can anyone help me understand what is wrong with this soil? It looks strange to me with the white stuff on it but I don’t know what that is. For context, I had to cut out 3 leaves from this monstera plant because they had black/brown spots with yellow circles around them and I read somewhere that that’s a sign of a fungus that can spread and the best way to make sure the whole plant doesn’t die is to cut it. I hope I did it correctly. I am brand new to plant life so I really need some help here! TIA!
