Can I water all my houseplants with distilled/ filtered water? Do some actually prefer tap water? I noticed some of my plants are lime, fluoride, etc. sensitive/ donât like tap water, Iâm thinking of just watering all of them with filtered water. Any thoughts? Thank you!

My plant here, Hank, gets lots of sun but Iâm not sure if he is getting too much or too little. I asked someone I know who is very experienced with plants if they knew what to do and they said he needs lots of sun but not direct sunlight. I put him on the ground near a sunny spot in my room but that was after I removed him straight from my window and he still has brown dry spots on his leaves. I also find that his soil gets dry fast so do I just need to move him? What do I do?

My dog has been eating my parlor palm. My dog is fine these aren't dangerous for him I'm pretty sure but my plant is not. You can see where he ate it. What do I do? I've been wondering about pruning the dead/eaten stuff but idk that might make it worse. Any advice?

First time Pest infestationâŠ.ughhhhhh. All of my plants got infested with mealy bugs, thrips, spider mites, etc. used neem oil, captain jacks insecticide soap, and now Ferti-lome Triple Action Plus Disease & Mite Control Liquid. Itâs week three. Just when I spray the shit out of them every 5 days. They keep come back! They are relentless and frustrating. Just look at her. I donât want to show my orchids, monstera or corn plant and other plants. đ I need advice!!! Should I just throw it away. I havenât been sleeping well because of this shit show. Please what do I do?
Iâm a new gardener, and I noticed on my pepper plants, near the nodes- there is a black funk/spot growing. Not the leaves, just the nodes. Any idea what it is or what to do?

This fellow is struggling to stand up straight. It was not over watered, it was dry yesterday and droopy so I gave him some water. Now he's even droopier:( you can see from the planta photo that it was really healthy when I first got it
My Zebra plant seems to be doing well, and he is nice and green on top and inside his leaves, but some of his outer/bottom leaves are kinda brown. They've been like this awhile, but I'm slightly concerned for my little guy and want to make sure he is as healthy as he can be. If anyone knows why his leaves are the way they are, please let me know. Thanks!

I bought a plant with rotten roots đą I kind of knew from the start but it wasnt too bad at first. I cut the bad roots, sanitized and replaced the soil with slightly damp chunky soil last week. Unfortunately it seems the remaining roots have rotted as well đ I decided to cut the vines connected to the roots and just propagate. But i left the vines that seemed to be subsisting solely off aerial roots in the moss pole. Any advice? đđ»
I need help with my cucumber plant.. it has some black spots and i think aphids (they have have white wings). In a 24â pot with another cucumber plant. How do i fix this? Also trying to keep it organic as possible. If not possible i can start over with not problem. The sick vine has a few baby cucumbers also, i have a feeling i might lose those.
ewđ«đ« I just saw my frydek has spider mites. Got it from a local nursery and Iâve had it home and with my babies about a week, so now Iâm in a panic of sorts it could have spread. Only noticed it after going back to said nursery, just looking around in that section and realizing the entire stock of frydek are infested, came home and đ„ sure enough, mine has the tell tale web around a leaf and almost all the other leaves are yellowed and limp. I dont know if I should get rid of it and cut my losses or try to clean him up and nurse him?
Can someone please help me with my peperomia clusiifloia? Itâs been this way for weeks and I donât understand whatâs wrong with it. If itâs overwatering, I didnât water it for two weeks. I also moved it to a slightly simmer spot to see if that helps but still no progress. Thank you all!
