Just got a Mauritius lychee tree but it looks like it has leaf burn and its leaves are drooping I gave it shade and a bin of water but it’s a full sun plant so should I take it out of shade?

She wasn’t like this yesterday! I just got this plant and watered her yesterday. The pot has drain holes and I used bottled water. I have her in my office about 3-4 feet from the window. Am I doing something wrong? How do I fix her :(

First time treating root rot and im so anxious 😭 I could tell there was a bit of root rot even at the nursery but I was feeling over confident lol after the operation there were a ton of healthy looking roots left so i took that as a good sign, however the base of the roots felt brittle so i was terrified of snapping the whole root system off! I tried to add a second moss pole once repotted, but i heard a crunch sound when i pushed down and was sooo scared that i was snapping the roots off 🥲 Anyone have experience treating monsteras? Think he’ll pull through?

Guys what’s wrong with my majesty palms? They are in a bathroom that gets humid and great light. I have bio fungicide and pesticide that I can do as a precaution (which I’ve done before and it worked) but I don’t know what else to do

Help! Idk what’s wrong with her. When I got it, it had a few brown spots but it definitely seems as if they have grown. The rest of the plant is healthy and is growing new leaves, so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. The second to last picture is the day I got it and the last is from today. TIA

Hi! Can someone help me determine what’s wrong with my succulent? It sits in the back behind some of my other plants and I just now noticed its state. I did find clover mites on it (only one or too) and it looks like this now. Should I cut it all the way down and start over or will it be okay? TIA

Hi plant lovers. This is my son’s lucky plant that isn’t so lucky. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong here? He has only had it for a few months and kept it indoors in a room with lots of light. This is the pot it came in not sure if it should be repotted? Is it a watering problem?

Houseplant newbie here … I recently noticed a whitish sheen and some spots on a few of the leaves of my Living Lace Davana. I used the Dr. Planta diagnose function and it said the issue was dry air. Does that seem right based on the photo? Some of my own Dr. Google research unearthed the possible diagnoses of powdery mildew or water spots/calcium deposits. Really hoping it’s not powdery mildew... I try to mist regularly and I live in zone 7a. Thank you for any ideas/advice!

Help!! This is my bird of paradise. Never repotted and has been in this exact spot since purchasing it. For a time I had a humidifier on around it to create humidity, but haven’t used that in months because the minerals in my hard tap water were staining the leaves of my plants (I cheaped out and didn’t get the best humidifier). One day, a leaf developed that yellowish-browning you see below. (THANKFULLY, the yellowing is isolated to this one leaf….for now). Planta suggested I overwatered so I started a drought. It’s been 23 days since it’s had a deep soak (bottom watered and only ever been bottom watered). EVERYWHERE I turn on online the internet suggests I’ve overwatered it based on the pictures I upload!! Around day ~13-16 I gave it maybe one cups’ worth of water fearing it was going too long without water. The top inch of soil is dry and crumbly. The soil feels cool beneath that layer, and is barely damp on the bottom (though I would say more dry than damp). Yet even today, the internet points to overwatering. She was doing so well and the blotch gets worse every day. Even recently grew a new leaf! 😣😥 ***the window closest to the lamp is west and the adjacent window is north

Crazy alocasia lady

I’d love opinions on what could be going on with my black velvet alocasia leaves. About three months ago, all my new leaves started to get yellow/white dots. Even my corm propagations. I thought ugh spider mites so I treated all my plants for 3 consecutive weeks with alcohol, soap and water sprays. It keeps happening even after this. I decided to repot and look at the roots, no root rot. I use a low concentration fertilizer with every watering which is about every 2 weeks due to the humidity here in Florida. These are inside babies but get an open window for natural humidity. Chunky plant soil. Halp 😩

My airplant is kind of drying up and turning brown. How do I save it. Should I mist it? If so how often?

Bedroom Botanist

I’m having some issues with leaf drying and curling. I am seeing lots of new growth, repotted about a week ago but had the same issue prior to repot. It is about 8” from the led lamp, measured about 9 to 1k lumens at top of leaves. Variegation is consistent. I think I may need to mist more frequently (currently 1x per wk) but would entertain any other suggestions. No pests are present.
