Any idea why my baby rubber plant is starting to yellow at the bottom leaves? She’s been a super easy plant and doesn’t seem temperamental. I have her under a grow light, water when dry, roots look good and doesn’t need a repot. Is it normal to lose the bottom leaves at once?
I just bought this corn plant from Costco a few days ago. Some of the leaves had some dark edges (not crispy though) and also some dark spots edged in yellow. I thought maybe it was due to transporting from the nursery and in my car, but now I’m worried it could be a fungus. I used planta diagnose app and said it was just maybe overwatering (I have not watered yet). Can anyone tell me if I have a fungus problem? If it is fungus I want to return or try to cut off the affected leaves right away.
ROOT ROT! The poor bugger (forked leaf sundew) needed all necrotic roots trimmed. I removed the flower stalk. I gently scrubbed the muck off with a soft toothbrush and did a quick clean (about a minute) with hypochlorous acid. Rinsed with distilled water. Left to air dry for 30 minutes. Placing on top of new sphagnum. Hopefully will see new growth from the still firm root ryzome. 😢 Mostly just looking for emotional support. I don't think there is much else I can do now.
I named this bird of paradise after my bird so its name is buttercup hope. But it’s been looking more and more sad. Really hoping to help making it better. Does anyone know why it’s leave has all these black spots? Thanks a lot
The azalea I just got seems much more droopy and have some yellow spots on the flower. Is it unhappy or dying? Any help would be really appreciated. It’s my first time taking care of Azalea

This might be an incredibly dumb question, but why don’t people use regular insect spray on their plants? Is there a problem using it on indoor potted plants? I’m new to plant parenthood, so this is a dumb (but genuine) question 😆
Here’s Elmer! He’s a little mad at me for overwatering him at first. Water schedule is better now, but he did leaf drop about half his canopy. How long do you think it will be till the tiny buds I see mature to leafs and restore his canopy?
I just got this snake plant a 2 weeks ago and the edges were all green, and hearing that they don’t need much water. However, every week I pick up the pot feels very light. I’ve top watered the first time and bottom watered the second time. I checked the roots and there seems to be growth and it’s not mushy, but is this showing signs of thirst or too much water. I picked this one up from Lowe’s and it was drenched in water. Been giving it enough sun and room temp is around 70-72.
I have had mealybugs on my monstera Swiss chess for a few months. I sprayed it with diluted alcohol and repotted it with new soil. It still have them. What else can I do?? Please help

So notice how the end of the Hoya went from green to light brown. I think it started to rot. So I cut off the brown part. Far enough back so I could see green. Maybe this is the reason why it wasn’t growing. Possibly bc a rot/fungal issue brewing? So I’ll keep an eye on it. And hopefully this possibly promotes new growth. Any thoughts on what the actual issue is/was? And did I do everything to prevent it from spreading?

Last attempt before I send her to the graveyard for good 🪦 🪴 😩 got this *former* beauty at plant bingo around Halloween. Been struggling to keep her happy (bright indirect light after I sunburned her, moved to bathroom with right light and more humidity) but she was very much living until a few days ago. Pruned back ~3 or so crunchy stems at the soil with sharp clean pruners. Now… this! Looks like it’s molding where I made the cuts. Can ANYTHING be done to save her? Pls help!! Pics of how it started and how it’s going 😭
I just got a new variegated Monstera plant, and the part of the leaf that is white was turning brown and yellow, and was dying off. So I assumed it was root rot, so I cut the part of the leaf off and I took the plant out of the pot. I found some nasty soil, and now I have it in water. Was that the right thing to do?
I have like half a dozen plants from Lowe's on discount, I know they were discounted because they were sick/dying but got them to see if I can save them. If anyone want to help see if I can actually save any of them?? I also have a pathos plant i got half off, some of her leaves are yellow and some of them are crispy so idk if she was over watered, underwatered or something else
