hello! I have these two Chinese money plants, their lease keeps shriveling up and dying. I might need to repot them or give them more light?

Just bought this tineke ficus because it was cheap and the seller was nice. She said these are just sunburnt leaves. Any tips on what I should do? Should I cut the leaves ir just leave them alone?

Took on most of my mom’s plants this year that were in need of care. Have had a plant hospital so to speak! This Moses in the cradle has some spots and what looks to be chewing on the leaves. I can’t tell if the little white specks are spider mites or just dust. I don’t see anything moving. But seems like could be mites. None of the spots can be scraped with my nail except for one white thing I put on the floor to try and get a better photo. It feels like the consistency of candle wax though which in my house is a possibility. The placement of some of the spots sure seems like could be scale but again can’t remove them. I guess I will dig further on all the leaves. I know my mom really never treated any of her plants with anything so it. I’m trying to figure out what treatments are safe. I’m always afraid when starting out with anything new I will burn the leaves. There’s a variety of plants. I do think I may have overwatered this one a bit and it needs a better draining soil. Some leaves dropping but lots are rooted babies so off they go into another pot….My plants plant collection is growing. Still trying to enter them all. I recently bought a product from Big leaves Energy which is a mix of Neem oil, insecticidal soap and some essential oils have to check which ones one smells like cloves. Sorry for long post. Questions are: 1) does this look like spider mites and or fungal or something else. 2). Recipes and product recommendations please for treatment. Good Neem oil brand? Insecticidal soap. I did see mixing Castille soap with water a good option. I also saw some recommendations for using hydrogen peroxide. I am determined to master this lol. Thanks for your help and reading:)

So I’ve been hit with the little plant bugs, plant fleas? I don’t even know what they are really 😂 But I saw someone post about them here and I think people recommended DE, so I was wanting to ask if it mattered what kind? I was looking on Amazon, but there are pest specific ones, or just food grade ones. Does it matter what kind? And I think people said there are little traps you can set on top of your soil too? Does anyone know what they’re called? Any help is appreciated, I’m so sick of these little bugs on all my plants. They don’t seem to be harming them, but it’s gross seeing them all in the soil, makes me feel dirty 😂

My anthirium doesn’t look so good. Looks like some infestation as well. What can I do to revive this plant?

does anyone have any tips for dealing with mold on top soil?

Stephanie

I have this philodendron that I repotted yesterday in completely fresh soil, I checked the roots and everything seemed fine. Today there is already a white spiderweb/candyfloss kind of mould or something around the base of the plant. What is this?? And should I be worried about it?? It doesn’t seem like the normal kind of mould that grows on other soil when it’s damp?

Hi! My prickly pear has been flourishing over the last few years, but I just noticed these brown spots this past week. Is this a fungal infection? If so, any suggestions on a treatment plan would be very much appreciated! Additional notes: the room has a south-facing window, and the plant is about 5 ft from it. I water it once a week and have doing so for a couple years.

Hi all! I just HAD to save this lucky bamboo plant from Lowe’s last week. I just left it exactly as was for a week in an east facing window; I wanted to see what happened. Spoiler alert: she got even more yellow and crispy. How do I even save her? I’m so far out of my league with bamboo. I don’t know if she’s in soil or water (I think soil) because these concrete rocks are on here. What do I cut off? What do I repot in? Water? Soil? I’d love to save her because she does have a smidge on new growth! Please help!!

my chinese money plant is recovering from being overwatered, her last brown leaf just fell off. all the leaves look healthy but the baby leaves at the bottom are starting to look like they need to be watered, but i’m scared to water again and undo the process of drying her out. thoughts? it’s been probably a month since i watered and repotted her about 2-3 weeks ago.

i’m panicking cause my paddle plant that’s never had issues is suddenly looking bad. i haven’t watered in a month and his leaves are dropping. the soil is still moist about halfway down so i’m not sure why he’s dropping leaves😢 i’m conflicted does he need water or not? they browning leaves are hard and crunchy, but then there’s this seemingly healthy one that just plopped off but it a little squishy at the tip.

Does anyone know if I should cut these larger leaves off of my prayer plant? I left town for a few weeks and most of the leaves died off because I wasn’t watering it, I’ve been back now for a few weeks and I see new growth but these older leaves seem to be dying too now. The leaves are still very green just curled up on themselves so I’m not sure if they’re too dead to save.

Today I repotted my American rubber plant and noticed a lot of light brown, almost clay-like dirt all along the bottom. The soil started off dark brown-black, like the soil next to it here. Should I be worried? It looks fairly healthy otherwise. (It also has a healthy fungus that’s been living on it for a while. Maybe that’s the issue?)

Update as of 2/16 It’s been a week since I repotted, trimmed the dead leaves off, and put my corn plant under a grow light. I’m concerned that I didn’t fix the original problem because the leaves are continuing to turn yellow/brown. Is it too soon to be worried? Is my plant just trying to recoup from being repotted? I’m wondering if there is anything else I can do to try to save this one from the plant grave yard. Looking for any helpful advice/tips. Thanks everyone! Original post from 2/9 Please help! The leaves on my poor corn plant have started turning yellow and brown on the tips. The app suggested it was due to being overwatered/lack of light. I don’t think that it’s been overwatered because I’ve been following the watering schedule and made sure that the soil was dry before I watered it a couple of days ago. I currently have it sitting under a grow light to help give it a boost. Is there anything else I can do to help save it? Appreciate any recommendations for saving this one before it’s too late. Thank you!

any tips of how to heal my baby? she's been repotted into a bigger pot and put in with new soil, fertilizer and i'm keeping up on watering her. i believe it's due to one of my cats snacking on her leaves... im watching him closely to make sure he leaves my plant alone. (yes, i know these are toxic to cats. my cat is fine)

So I want to start growing plants and purchased my first plant the money tree. It began getting cuts on the leaves and I was making the mistake of direct sunlight so maybe that’s why but are those slight cuts on the leaves normal? Please any recommendations are appreciated

This is Stevie my dracaena fragrans. My mother in law gave him to me on his death bed. I’m needing help on saving his life right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
