Trying to figure out if these are natural growth bumps on my English ivy or if it’s scales. Any advice would be appreciated!
This bamboo has been having a pretty rough time lately - I’ve had it for a long time but didn’t take great care of it since I was in college and my mom was taking care of it - I repotted it recently but it’s been having this yellow stalk and the black dots - I thought thrips but nothing is moving? Help 😭
Just need some advice. I got a couple of spotted calla lillies last year and gave one to my grandmother. They where free and where having a rough time when I got them from a friend who was just going to throw them away in October. I took them and tried to overwinter them in my basement that gets cold but not as cold as outside but usually stays about in the 40s. My grandmother's have already started to come up but I haven't had any luck with mine coming up once I moved them back outside. The bulbs feel fine no squishy and they still have some good roots from last year. Did they just not get cold enough overwinter or did they just die? If it is an overwintering issue is there anything I can do to fix it?
I got this advertised as a clearance albo mid cut but now I’m not sure if that’s even true (looking kinda Thai?). Is the conical point in the middle a new growth point or is it going to die off? She said the leaf got too crispy under her too powerful grow light and now I’m thinking maybe I got taken for $30 haha. I’m not sure what to do for it so any advice is appreciated 😅
Uhhhhhh this just came out of the hole in my nerogelia. Its new leaves are turning brown and crisp suddenly but the THING I pulled out is wet. Help. I love this plant.
Kinda hard to tell from the picture , but my garden box is covered in like this white stuff , anyone know what that is ?
My majesty palms are not looking too healthy. J repotted them after buying them and they immediately seemed weak. I put a stake in each one to try to hold them up better. Now they are just dropped and unwell. The soil feels dry at the top but not a few inches down. Any thoughts!?
My rose bush won’t spout after replanting anything I’m doing wrong or do I need to just give it time
Hey guys, so I recently got a cutting of a Pothos and have been having trouble getting it to grow after potting it. I propagated for about one-two weeks until the roots were longer than an inch to plant. After planting, the plant became more yellow, leaves started to curl. My app is telling me to water more, but the soil is soaked. Please help
Hello everyone! I noticed my cactus was starting to slouch. I took it out of the pot to check the root situation but I’m not very knowledgeable on the topic! Looking for any reason or advice as to why it’s slouching! It does get about 6-8 hours of direct sunlight a day, I don’t think it has been overwatered and it was repotted last summer! The pot has drainage holes and I use just a standard potting soil! Thank you!
Stromanthe lovers, SOS! Does anyone know what causes this phenomenon where new leaves grow in curled and wilted right near the stem? I’ve definitely provided inconsistent humidity for this over the winter but it’s still putting out new leaves with a fervor, though they’re not coming out super lush or strong. Any tips appreciated 🙏🏼
Okay, what are these little worm looking things in my water plant?? I just noticed them yesterday. Are they pests? Are they good for the plant? Where did they come from? The water was just changed about a week ago.
OK, so this is gonna be kind of long winded. I got this aloe plant for my great aunt nine years ago and I took it home and it was thriving for a while but then I went to college and left it with my mom (a known plant killer lol) thinking that it was pretty hearty and kind of hard to kill an aloe plant of this size. but I think the damage has been done. I've been trying everything I can after I moved home from college to help revive it and strengthen it but nothing seems to be helping. any tips?
I saw this mushroom on my oxalis a few months ago. Did a little research- Leucocoprinus birmbaunii: it’s harmless, but I wanted to remove bc of spores that I do NOT want in my lungs. Keeps coming back!! I literally unpot the d@mn thing and remove all the fungus and it still keeps growing back!! How do I fix??? Completely new pot and soil?? Grew like twice the size in 24 hours!! (Don’t judge the name of the plant I just like Hazbin Hotel)
Help, what is going wrong?🤍🪴
Hello! I’ve had an issue with fungus gnats and I think it’s the soil I’ve been buying since they keep coming back after I repot plants. How do you know you’re buying soil from a good source and anything you recommend doing to treat the soil before potting to make sure there aren’t any gnat eggs in it? Thank you!
I've had this rubber plant for about a year now but its leaves have been falling and I've noticed browning of some leaves as well. Despite, leaves falling it has grown a new leaf. It was diagnosed with overwatering which I've worked on it for about 2 months now. Could I save my plant?
Hi known plant murderer here 🙋🏻♀️ this is the first plant im trying my absolute best at keeping alive. I bought it literally 3 days ago. I watered her. I put her in a part shade part sun room. Why is my ZZ plant already dying??
Hello! I am new here. I love plants and wanting to learn more about my plants since I am retired. This is a banana plant that was giving to me. Any comments are welcome. I am going to be replanting them in the ground.
Here is my sweet William before and after. I might have been over watering them but she is still growing new blossoms what’s wrong with her should I be concerned ?
