I’m hoping some of you plant experts can give me some ideas of what might be causing this spot on my alocasia. This plant has challenged me since day 1 but I’m determined to keep her going. Planta was not much help. It named everything. Thank you!🤗🪴

Looking for so help with telling what tge heck is going on with my plant!
Okay, I need help. I have a compact fiddle leaf fig and over the winter months it has lost all of its leaves. I have been still watering it sparingly. I’m not sure if it is a lost hope and I should throw it out or if there is something specific I could do to help it? Any help you may have would be greatly appreciated!
Help! I don’t know what this white scaly stuff is on my plant (Opuntia Snow- Ursine). It was just at the bottom, now it’s on the whole plant. I know, I should’ve done something sooner.
I just found mealybugs and scale on my Hoya Australis. This is my first time dealing with these suckers. I removed them with a q tip and alcohol and cleaned each individual leave. What else can I do ? How long do I need to isolate? Is neem oil effective for mealies and scale? Does diatomaceous earth work for these type of bugs? Do I need to clean her daily to avoid reinfestation? Sorry for all the questions. Any tips/ advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I’ve had this peperomia for a couple of months. I had originally potted it in the same pot as a peperomia ‘Russo’. This ’Silver Leaf’ has a bunch of leaves that are a bit distorted. So I repotted it by itself, thinking maybe it didn’t like sharing space. It’s still weird looking though. I can’t see any pests. The pot has good drainage. I’m at a loss. Any ideas?
I’ve had this calathea for a couple months now, and have had a terrible time. I finally moved it to a self watering pot because I wasn’t sure if I was letting the soil dry out too quickly, but the research I’ve done said it could be a light problem too. I’ve checked for pests, and nothing. I water it with well water, which could be part of the problem. Any suggestions?
Help! My ficus Audrey is dying and I don’t know what to do. I’ve had this plant for 3 years and until recently, it’s been very healthy. Over the last month, she has lost 8+ leaves from the bottom up. At first they just turn yellow and fell off. Now they are turning splotchy yellow and then getting black spots. 4 of the current leaves are healthy, and the pictures are of the 3 that aren’t. What do I do??
Is this anything to worry about? it still has some new growth but there’s a few leaves that are starting to turn this way. Should I be concerned and if so any suggestions?
I have had this Birkin Philodendron for about six weeks. It started out looking great, but this white leaf got a brown spot on it. The brown spot has grown. And now I noticed a brand new leaf that is just starting to come out has brown on it as well. I have been careful (I thought) not to overwater her. She is planted in the same pot as a lipstick plant, which seems to be doing great. What the heck is going on here? 😢 About 18 feet from a big west facing window. But grow light is on 14 hours/day. Great drainage.
I (am pretty sure) over fertilized my peace lily 😫 I’ve flushed the soil under the faucet for several mins and will repot her into fresh soil, but is there anything else I should do? She was doing ok before I fertilized her, a little droopy but ok.
One of my friends asked me to rehab two of her plants (golden pothos and an echeveria) because she is not a plant person at all. Her pothos was in desperate need for repotting (check), but the echeveria needs help, maybe. What does this poor guy even need? How do I get it to look like it’s standard shape? TIA!! This (the picture) is how I got it. It was a 1” succulent at least two years ago from a home improvement store, never given more soil, just a bigger container, and watered enough for it to grow this much.
How to deal with scale??
Hello, I’ve had a Florida green for a few months now and I see theirs been some sap like substance on the stems. When I google this some sites say it’s natural and some say it’s pests. I’ve treated it like I would my others and they are still there. Any ideas? I don’t see it on or under the leaves just the stems. Thanks in advance!
Help! I think I waterlogged my paradise plant, but not 100% sure. Aside from not watering and taking it out a of a planter, what else might I do!? Thank you 🙏
Does anyone know why my rubber tree has a few leaves like this? They don’t start out that way but in the last month there’s been five or six that get this textured pitting almost
my arrowhead plants will never just stay alive. i've had 3 and tried having one in water too. the leaves always slowly die. help
ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE! 🤩 I’ve got three golden bamboos outside on my balcony’s the stems have started to turn yellow, one is completely brown. Will these come back to life now? And do you think the drainage is a problem? 😔 Can someone recommend what kid of pot they should be in? What kid of soil and also if I can bring these back to life? ☺️😊
My fiddle tree doesn’t seem to be doing too well. How do I prune it so it grows out more? Any advice to help it stand up straight? Is it getting enough sun? How big should the pot be? 💚
