does anyone know why the leaves on my aloe at the bottom keep turning red/orange/yellow and drying up and then I have to cut them off and now my aloe is bare at the bottom? it gets a lot of sun so I though it might be sunburn so I moved it out of the sun but it kept happening. The only other thing I can think of is too small of a pot?

I’m trying to grow some Bonsai Lotus plants, and everything seemed fine until it rained last weekend, then I started getting algae in my pot. Need some suggestions to save my plants from the algae, without killing them!!!🫣
Oooorrrrrr, am I over reacting?🤷🏾♂️

One of the leaves of my plant seemed to be dead but some slimy, oey, goey stuff came out of the leaf 🍃 What should I do and what is happening to my plant? 🌱 Please comment back if you have any ideas on what I should do and if you know what is happening to my plant. 🪴 Thank you so much ☺️ I really appreciate it 🙏🏼

Need suggestions please. My monstera was overwatered and drowning. I repotted it with fresh potting soil, mixed in some of the original soil for familiarity, and removed the dead/rotten roots in the process. Pruned the dead leaves after repotting. Watered it very, very lightly about a week ago. Followed all other recommended care instructions, but it still looks rough. Is there hope for it? What else should I do?

Hi guys!
I think my Tí plant has been a bit sick.
First, noticed she had spider mites and have been treating her with Captain Jack’s Ready To Use Neem Max once a week while also misting daily to down out the mites
Then I had gone on a trip and came back to see that she had dropped a ton of leaves (most were yellowing to begin with - but not all)… figured this may be due to overwatering so I let her sit out/dry for a bit.
While she’s still got new growth, what else can I do to help her grow faster + heal? She’s bare now and wondering if she’ll fill back out.
Thanks!
Miranda
I saw a couple (not many) gnats by my money tree and I’m low-key freaking out thinking it may be the beginning of an infestation 😬😭 am I overreacting??

Help☹️
Everytime my Hoya Krimsom Queen buds a new white leaf, it shrivels up and falls off before maturing.
She’s done this three times now - what can I do better to get them to survive?😭

My gardenia has mealy bugs and the leaves are turning yellow. I used insecticidal soap and pruned off the infected branches, but I think it’s time for alcohol treatment. It’s not absorbing water well, so I suspect it needs a larger pot so the substantial roots have more room. I know gardenias are tricky, and I live in an area that gets cold winters and minimal sun, so I bring it inside. I don’t know if I should keep trying or just give up. My climate is not ideal for a plant like this, which makes it even harder.

Just got this dragonscale alocasia. Unfortunately, it isn’t doing too well and I noticed it has a mealy bug problem. I sprayed it with diluted rubbing alcohol and dipped a qtip with rubbing alcohol and dabbed it onto some heavily infested parts as best as I could, but I’m not sure if I got them all. I haven’t repotted the plant yet but I will very soon. I’m trying to separate some of the corms in the soil and start propagating them in case the main plant doesn’t make it. Any tips?

I am trying to propagate a bunch of Sunpatients from my mother plant. The propagations are growing rather quickly but the foliage looks pretty rough with a bunch of spots. Any advice or treatments?

I have a desert rose that I pruned because it was wilting. It’s been two months, it hasn’t grown and it hasn’t died, just gotten pruny. Any way to save it and make it grow?

Just got an alocasia for the first time ever. Her soil pH, draining, light, watering, etc are all great. Was gone for a week where she was watered and given sunlight but no humidity. Is that what’s wrong?

What are these tiny bugs? They are crawling all over the soil. Please help!

Hi everyone! my plant is getting some of these spots on her new leafs, does anyone know what it is or why it could be happening?
nature luvr
anyone know what this discoloration indicates? overwatered? sunburn?
*can confirm it’s not a pest problem!

Caught the gnats early on, thank goodness 😮💨 treated with hydrogen peroxide to kill those pesky larvae and finally got the sticky catchers.

Is this mold? I think it is so I cut it off or did I do it for nothing? I’m thinking that if it is, it’s from using that neem oil, soap and water mixture everyone online says to use for gnat pesticide

My Spanish lavender is looking sort of dead in places. I am very new at taking care of plants, and bought this one because I heard it’s good at keeping bugs away! I’m concerned about the little orange bits in the flowers. I scattered some flower fertilizer into the soil when I repotted it about a week ago, and it has rained very heavily the last two days so I haven’t been watering it for that reason. Prior to that I was watering it about once a day until I saw water leave the drainage hole in the bottom. I moved it further into the sunlight, but please let me know if you’re aware of any specific problems that could be causing this! My friend bought a plant from the same place as me and told me that their plant had mites so that could be an issue as well.
