I got this huge Cattleya orchard of our local take one, leave one table. I had orchid medium but not an orchid pot that this beast would fit in. Which would work better, terracotta or plastic? I temporarily put it in plastic because I figured the terra-cotta might stay wet and rot the roots. I'm not good with orchids so I honestly have no clue.

Okay guys this is my second post about this plant and the same problem. I lifted up the pot and there’s mold I assume growing underneath the pot again. I don’t know what it’s from or how to fix it 😭 I already repotted the plant (bc of the same issue along with some sort of bugs) into this same pot but I cleaned it. I don’t have neem oil but I’ve been meaning to get some. Help 😭

Hello!
I’ve had this night blooming cactus for about a year and a half. Recently these black spots have been popping up on her underside, the spots aren’t mushy they’re on the harder side. Is this something to be concerned about and can it be fixed? (She’s on the windowsill of a south facing window and gets watered once maybe twice a month)
Thank you in advance!

Ive noticed this black spot on my Monstera Kunzo white monster & it seems to be getting bigger... Any ideas please let me know !!!

I had recently gotten a big pot of succulents (ogre ears golden sedum paddle plant and tipsy turvy specifically.) And it had webs in it I thought it was a house spider so I left it alone till the plant started dying I thought it was spider mites so I sprayed neem oil some other spray and cinnamon plus orange peel juice and I just discorvered a tiny brown mushroom growing in spores and a weird smell I tried propagating one of the ogre ears and it wilted. Does anyone know about this?

Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my plant. I currently have it outside in moderate sun (in shade at certain times) I water it when it says to be watered. I will say the pot does not have drainage holes unlike my other plants ( taking care of it for my mom) which could be a main issue but other than that I don’t know who it looks so droopy and sad.

I don't wanna overreact, so I'll state this calmly. What the hell is this 😀

I had a smallish I would say thrips outbreak! I’ve done two rounds of insecticide, sprayed all of them down with the hose, and then followed with a third round of insecticide. I vacuumed the carpet and dusted and swept everywhere (just in case one’s out walking around) Do we think they are gone? I just moved them back into my house and did a quick inspection didn’t find any 🤞🏼

What could be wrong with these Mexican bluebells? At first I thought maybe it was a type of variegation but when I looked closer it’s fuzzy, but not like mealybugs. Could it be a fungal issue? It’s a giant bush-like plant outside in my backyard.

My snake plant has this boo-boo but looks like it’s recovering itself. Any tips on treating my baby?

This was growing so well until about a week or two ago, the leaves have just started dropping it off really quickly. I moved it to a slightly shadier place but have now put it back on the windowsill. Any one else experience this and what can I do to help the bits that are now quite bare? Will the leaves grow back?

My philodendron has gotten a bit of sunburn. Ive blocked off the plant and it still gets Sun but not too much. I’m going to get a better option for blocking light but is there anything I can do to help.
Is there a way for my plant to heal and will the sunburn get lighter?

Why are my plants turning brown at the tip?

This is my little brillo I bought from home depot. I take it this is probably not a "true" bonsai, as it was only like 20 bucks lol. But i still love it and think it is pretty and i got it because i might get a real bonsai in the future and wanted practice.
That being said, it seems to be struggling, within the first week, the leaves were falling off like crazy and then i started taking care of it better, misting, watering and putting it on my balcony for sum cosmic rays, but the leaves keep falling off and she is looking rather sparse.
Does anyone know whats causing this? This app is retartar and is telling me there are bugs but i dont see any.
Anyways, thank you all as always this community is awesome and very helpful 😘😘😘

Anybody knows what kind of bug this is? My Plumeria has been struggling with it for the last few months. I sprayed it twice with pyrethrin but I does not seem to stop it. Any advice would be welcomed.

Hi there.
My wife and I bought this gardenia recently. When we first brought it home, it was very perky, full, and green with small buds growing. However, over the past two months it has slowly been wilting and yellowing. It also had a few bugs on it.
Here are a few things we've tried, but no luck:
-We've repotted it (three weeks ago, the roots seemed fine)
-When we repotted it, we changed the soil (the previous seemed to just allow water to drain really quickly.)
-We used peppermint spray to kill the pests (we've not seen any for a couple weeks)
-We've moved it around our living room to give it different levels of light (our windows face are south facing)
Nothing we've done seems to help it. Willing to try anything!
