I got this beautiful pink princess philodendron off Facebook marketplace but as I was watering it this week I noticed little beetles in the soil she just pushed out a new leaf and is working on another one so she’s great. but should i be concerned?
Hey everyone! I’ve had this Gold Dust Croton for a little over a year now. It started out super full of foliage, but around February it started losing its bottom leaves and now looks like this. Has anyone experienced something similar or have suggestions for how to fix her? I keep her under a grow light for 12-14 hours a day and water her once every few days, if not more. Thank you so much in advance!
My fiddle plant has some leaves that are partially dry. Should I cut them off and what causes it?
I’ve had this monstera for a bit now. Do you think it needs a wider pot with more soil? The inner pot width is ~10inchs.
My carnivore is looking poorly. I had him close to a north facing window. In addition to move him under a growth light, should I remove the glass dome? I only use distilled water for watering
I don’t know if anyone can help with my extremely sad Peperomia Quito, but I will gladly take any opinions and knowledge I can get. Left pic is when I got it, right pic is what it looks like today 😭 I had this Quito shipped to me from out of state VIA Etsy and it arrived at my home on September 12th. The plant looked healthy overall with only a couple of leaves showing blackened edges. But I noticed right away the soil was extremely wet, almost mud-like so I repotted it into new soil. I use Grow Queen Aroid mix for my Peperomias because they usually thrive in it. It comes pre-moistened and so I didn’t water the plant after repotting. I have had it sitting in a south-facing window that doesn’t get direct sunlight this time of year due to a building next door blocking direct rays, but it gets decent ambient light. Fast forward to today. This thing has COMPLETELY flopped over. A couple of leaves have mushy brown stems that I removed and the stems are so mushy the leaves fall right off the stems without me applying any force to them. I moved the plant into a west-facing window that gets direct sunlight in the afternoon that I filter with blinds. What else can I do for this plant? Is this from overwatering like I’m suspecting, or does it actually need water and I’m completely misreading the situation? I don’t want to overcorrect and do a million things to an already stressed plant, but I also can’t sit by and do nothing, either. Anything anyone can recommend is extremely helpful, thank you so much in advance!
I’m hoping someone can help me out. I have gnats and use mosquito bits every watering. Can I add my liquid fertilizer with the mosquito tea? I am using Grow Queen 5-5-5. Photo for fun! I love new leaves!!

Does anyone know what to do?? My calathea hasn't been doing the best this week. Google told me she needed more humidity but that doesn't seem to be working. She’s been getting worse over the last few days with one of her leaves rolling up and wilting, and the other ones look a little lower too. Advice would be very appreciate, Cathy needs to live 🙏🙏🙏
I have an Alocasia Scalprum that I just got. It had been watered the day I got it so I was holding off watering and monitoring the soil on when to water next. I look at it today and I had yellow leaves that rotted off at the base and what looked like mold. I hadn’t watered it so I don’t think this is because of overwatering. I just don’t want it to harm the rest of the plant! Any advice on treating the mold and saving what I have left?
My Calathea has been like this for a while and I don’t know how to get it back. I have changed pots/soil. I have tried not over watering it. It sits in by an east facing window which seems like a good spot from what I’ve heard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Who thinks this croton will live? I brought it home on July 26 and transplanted it into some chunky soil. I don’t know if that happened right away and the roots might’ve been too wet in the beginning. I also was putting “ sexy plant Juice” on all of my plants and only one other had a problem getting burned under the light and that’s out of 50 of them. But this one got burned in one day! Now it’s lost all the two leaves. There still is no sign of a new leaf. Will it live?
My begonia is browning where the leaf connects to the stem… is this mechanical damage or something more sinister? This is my first begonia so all advice is appreciated!

Not sure why all of a sudden this plant I’ve had for 5+ years that’s been in the same planter its whole life thriving, is now turning yellow. Can someone please tell me what i need to do.
wonder if anyone can give me advice on this i noticed that it hadn't grown in some time and the stems had started turning brown so i got it out the pot to notice there were no roots at all the bottom part is brown but the end of it is still green so im not sure if it would indicate root rot at all? can i put this in some water to help it grow its roots or is there anything else i can do to help it?
Planta says this is a caterpillar and to remove it and look for more. Because it’s outside it didn’t suggest really anything else. I looked and couldn’t find anymore. The darn thing was eating like a champ!! Does anyone suggest anything else?
