Trying to propagate basil, but the leaves have a whitish layer, not sure if itâs mold and the roots are brown. Iâve seen videos and roots are white. Iâve been changing the water frequently and the water looks clear

Hello all,
Hope you are all having a great day so far đ
I'm kind of thinking this is normal, but I thought I would check in with you all. The brown fuzzy on the stems is what I am looking at.

What on earth is happening to this echevaria leaf?!? Should I be concerned???
It was really soggy initially, I thought maybe overwatering⊠however now whatever is growing in it is worrying me. This is also only isolated to this leaf. The rest of my plant is thriving.
Any ideas?

This is an all around view of my golden pothos in water. Do the roots look fine or is there a bit of root rot? Got it as a gift from someone else on Sunday. Did a bit of cleanup already but want to get some fresh eyes on it.

Any tips for fungal gnats? Iâve used water/hydrogen peroxide treatment, cinnamon, glue traps, repotted with fresh bagged soil and coir mix that looked clear (still treated before potting), etc. and the dang gnats are still crazytown.
I donât overwater.
Any advice is helpful.

Would it be safe to assume that this plant is being choked out by the pre existing spiderwort. We just moved here, and had no idea that these guys were actually there. I donât want to pull out the spiderwort, and if the pansies die itâs fine. They werenât gonna live that long anyway.

This Striped Dracaena plant was watered over 2 weeks ago, but never gets dry and Iâm afraid maybe itâs got rot. Itâs so big and heavy itâs hard to move or check. Any suggestions whatâs going on or if Iâve been overwatering?

Should I be watering this plant when the soil still registers as âMoistâ? This is a Council tree and I havenât watered in almost 2 weeks.

My monstera has a sick leaf and Iâm not sure if itâs due to lack of watering or too much or even not enough sunlight. I just repotted because it sprouted 2 new leaves and a whole new little sprout so I felt that it needed a bigger pot. The roots looked fine but that leaf is the oldest leaf so idk if thatâs normal for it to just yellow and brown like that. Any recommendations to save the leaf I donât want it to get worse and hurt the rest of the plant!

Spider plant needs help! It looks even more floppy and anemic now. This plant was adopted from a colleague who left and it lives on a ship. It has a grow light now, which it didnât have before. Was given a slight sprinkle of fertilizer recently.
Is this overwatered? Underwatered? Too much light?

Hello, very new plant mother here! I was recently gifted (what I now know is) a Tradescantia Nanouk. I was unsure if there was a problem with how its stems/leaves are hanging. I know it is a trailing plant, but some pictures I see online show some stems that stand more upright. I have been rotating it and it is placed near a bright window w/ a humidifier. Any tips would be greatly appreciated for this plant newbie đ - thanks!

Can anyone kindly help me with my (I think) creeping velvet philodendron? Got this guy a few months ago, discounted because he looks a little like he got in a fight, but has otherwise been healthy and growing steadily (three new shoots recently). Questions:
How long do leaves take to uncurl? Itâs been over five weeks for a few and they havenât movedâŠ
Best way to prune? Sadly one of its biggest newer leaves died (the drooping one) and want to safely remove.
Any other tips overall? đ
