I got gifted this heartleaf potho from my aunt. It wasn’t doing so good when I got it. I need to add more soil and also I repotted it just in an inch bigger pot so I had room to work with but do I get her to stop the leafs changing. How do I get her to be more fuller without overwatering n over sunning her??

Agreed to assess the condition of my building's Split Leaf Philodendron (Selloum).
The plant had so much root rot it was literally falling out of the pot (which was a 12" terracotta pot inside a decorative planter.
Cut almost all the leaves off, half the roots & washed with my homemade pest spray. I reported its condition to my neighbors & they essentially suggested binning it.
Not on my watch!
So now I have a sick plant, very little room for a rehabilitation set up & zero clue. She's sitting in the only glass vase (plant food added to water) I had & I cut all but one leaf (thinking it would help with photosynthesis?)
Am I taking on a lost cause? Tips?

Any ideas on how to stop this browning that has been occurring. I was gifted this guy when he was a bit smaller and am unsure what I am doing wrong. One thing I read stated using filtered water which I started doing a month ago. Any other suggestions.

Hey, so my sister has this bird nest fern…poor guy is a little rough. She asked if I could help her revive him.
The first pic is what he looks like now and the second is what he looked like.
He had dead leaves and some were rotted towards the bottom. I repotted him (drainage holes and chunky soil), got rid of rotted/dead leaves and roots and put him in my greenhouse.
The pot he’s in is sitting in a bowl that has rocks on the bottom and water (not high enough for his pot to touch the water) but I saw that can help with humidity that the plant needs.
Is there something else I should be doing? I want to save him (oh his name is Marcel) for my sister. Thanks to all in advance 💕

Why is my inch plant becoming dull in color? Some of its leaves are super glittery and thriving. And there are ones like this that are flimsy and almost transparent.
Is it too much light? They are a foot away from a east facing window

Are these spots on mantra normal?

I’m not sure what’s going on with this plant. Should I be pruning the roots? Is the soil at the top something I even need to attend to? I just changed the water about a week ago. It smelled horrible, like it had soured. Maybe I should add some fertilizer? Or just keep refreshing the water? Any advice helps!

Birthday plant dying since i moved😭 please help!
My rubber plant has been dropping green leaves since i moved, shes on a west facing window. I checked roots, even rinsed them clean and planted into new soil, no change, still dropping. I took the “caps” off the new leaves because i thought maybe theyd open up? Probably a mistake. I dont water very often because it seems to hold the water for awhile, maybe thats my issue? Ive never heard of a plant dropping what look like healthy leaves 🤦🏼♀️ any advice?

Noticed this one of my Jalapeño plants today.
I have two but only 1 seems to have this on its leaves.
Could anyone provide some insight on what could be causing this?

Hello I have this succulent (no one knows what it is and neither does any app) who was severely dehydrated. Probably hadn’t been watered for four months and sat in full sun. All the bright green is new growth but all her bottom leaves that were brown when I got them from lack of water are all falling off and even some that didn’t look that damaged. Is this part of her healing or should I be worried? Here’s her now, and then some of the leaves that fell ALL THIS MORNING ☹️.

I have this plant in a very sunny room. Is that the reason for the brown spots? Or could it be water quality? I’m watering once a week. Any suggestions would be helpful!
