Hi, I’ve discovered some odd things on a couple of my plants, on one of my hoya there are these black dots and on my money plant there are white dots and milky looking patches, does anyone know what they are?

I’m very new to plants (I made an offhand comment about wanting to have plants and my best friend got me a plant, bless him, but did so without even looking the plant up on google) and I’ve only had this blue star fern a week but now it’s looking very white/pale. The little information i’ve found says that it might be due to, too little light. It’s been near a south/south east facing window ever since I got it, which gets a decent amount of light all morning and near a humidifier. Can anyone let me know what I’m doing wrong? 😌

i just noticed these little white bits near the leaves of my weeping fig, does anyone know what they are? (second pic) i didnt notice any others, just the two. i also saw that some of the leaves are getting dry and curling up and some brown spots & holes, and one fell off, does it need more sun? (first pic) the person that gave me the tree said that it needs as much sun as possible but planta said partial sun so its in partial sun right now. sorry if these are silly questions, im pretty new to plants :)

My pony tail palm is still recovering from my sisters cat, but I’ve noticed the new leaves are bending over as well. Is there a way to fix this? I just give it regular fertilizer, nothing special, maybe it needs a specialized one? I thought this was going to be the kind that curled and is more compact but she’s all out there which is also fine. But I don’t think the leaves folding is normal…or is it?

Hello yall! This is my step mom’s Shady Lady tree. Anyone know what’s wrong with it? It’s in an east facing window and it’s watered once a week. I think I figured out the problem She gives it straight tap water and doesn’t fertilize it. So I told her to leave the water out for a day or so and to pick up some fertilizer. Anything else they can do?

I rescued this from my mom, I think it’s a jade plant but I’m not sure what’s needed to get it flourishing, There are a lot of new branches and leaves coming through But it seems like it’s not rooting properly!!! My mom said it’s always been like this ??

Hey everyone! I recently saved this dracaena reflexa from the grocery store. As you can see it was pretty down bad. I figured out that it was overwater and ton! Since i got it, it has shed all of its leaves. It was soft to the touch but is now firm. Do you think i can save it? What do you all recommend? I haven’t watered it in 19 days so it can dry out

Got this new prayer plant . These weird spot are on the leaves , my old one has these and they started getting bigger and the plant died . What are they/ what they caused by ? How do I make it stop / go away ?

What’s going on with the my moth orchid :( have had it for 6 weeks now and was blooming beautifully. I don’t know if it’s diseased. Any experts that can give advice or identify the problem would be great. Any help suggested is greatly appreciated

What is causing this on my plant?? It is right by the window is it getting to much sun? I let dry completely before watering. Should i cut the bad leaves?

Hi All! Anyone here from Florida that can help with my Desert Rose? I have her outside on my porch where she gets lots of sunlight as per guidelines and all her buds died and fell off in days. I water her when dry only. What am I doing wrong?

So… I brought this home for Valentine’s Day. I think it got overwatered because I’ve only watered it once since I brought it home and it’s still super moist. This is my current setup, but I’m scared it might also be rotting at the crown or something I have no idea about with this type of plant. Please help. Thanks to anyone for any advice 🙂

Hey there! Just took over taking care of the plants at my new job and they’re not looking so great. I’m new to plant care so any tips and suggestions are appreciated! My main concern right now are the two Devil’s Ivy that are very yellow at the moment. I added a pic of the draining system since I think watering might be the problem.. any help?
