I have this little shelf setup for some of my smaller plants and propagation pieces, and i haven’t had any problems with bugs prior to this week but now i have a little colony of fruit flies, what would be the easiest way to get rid of em and keep them from coming back? (Also the light is further away than it looks in this photo) Im not sure which plant started the problem either, i saw one fruit fly 2 days ago and i checked them all and couldn’t find anything, now i can count like 7. Maybe it’s just too much moisture in a small area? I also don’t keep any food or anything around them, I’ve removed any dead leaves and made sure theres no sitting dirty water.

Hi all just wondering what could possibly be going on with my philodendron Imperials leaves. It’s in a well draining soil and gets plenty of indirect bright light. Is this normal or should I be looking into a fungicide

Found these guys on my prayer plant and money plant. They were separated by more than a foot. I believe it is white fly. Could only see them with my magnifying glass mag light. I think it is white fly. I found a larvae as well. Had to post this here to here other peoples thoughts.

Can anyone give me some tips on saving orchids? I recently rescued an abandoned orchid from a closing shop and am not sure if it’s healthy or not. It was potted in sphagnum moss, but the moss seems a weird texture so I thought I would repot it in bark.

Is my Raven ZZ sunburnt or is this root rot? I forgot to check on it the last week after intense heat 😬 Should I check out the roots and risk more shock or let the plant be?
History: plant arrived in mail with no dirt and I immediately potted it into soil (rookie mistake I know) and watered it a little. This was around April 27th. Leaves started dropping after 2 weeks so I bottom water it completely. The soil is still wet today which is concerning. I waited another week before putting it under a grow light for 12 hours a day. Then I left it for about a week. The stems changing colour like this happened in the last week. They were not like this earlier. However, the leaves that were originally dropping came from the hurt stems.

Hi all,
My fiddle leaf fig is pushing out a new leaf that’s entirely covered in red spots. This has never happened before and the rest of the plant looks very healthy. No signs of infestations and the plant hasn’t been repotted or moved in a while. Any idea?

Noticed this scary growth in the soil of my spider plant it’s been though a lot has a history of gnats and needing to be left to dry out. So scared this is some sort of pest getting ready to hatch though…. Help

What do I do about this plant? The top leaves are coming in brightly but the bottom leaves are very dull and it's extremely leggy. I have it in a north facing window but I'm worried that it may not be getting enough light. Should I cut the tops off and try to propagate them to get a bushier plant? Thanks in advance.

Should I cut the yellow leaf now or when it completely dies?

So I’m having a little trouble with my monstera. Monsty here decided that she would like to fall right out of her pot! I’m thinking about using a chopstick as a stake, and tying her to it with some string. Is this the best course of action? If not, what should I do instead?

This is my mass cane, the diagnosis is over watering. I have a tray underneath and it sits on top of the pebbles for more humidity; should I take that out? I only water the op when the soil feels dry. I work 630am-3. I try to remember to open the curtains, sometimes I forget and open it when I get home till the sun goes down.
