I’ve been having a problem with my velvet philodendron Gloriosum. It was doing really well for a while. I recently moved and the sun lighting kind of changed. I have him in a decently. Lit room he was getting very big so I repotted him in the pot he currently is in, however, he has been getting worse and I’m not sure how to fix it. I don’t see any pests and he is on a watering cycle. I had him on a Moss pole but took him down because I read they prefer to hang hoping that would help it unfortunately did not. I love this plant and I’ve had him for a little while so I’m just curious if there’s any tips or advice that could help, I would very deeply appreciate it.

It’s been a week since I had to repot my marble queen and manjula pothos due to pests, and they are still looking so sad! 😞 What should I do? Leave them alone and hope for the best? Panic? They’re my favorite and I really don’t want to lose them.

Hi, I’ve never been great at looking after succulents and cacti but thought I’d give it one last go, it’s on a window sill with plenty of light and being watered only once in a while…any tips?!! Thank you :)

Does anyone know what these pests are? I’ve been fighting off a gnat infestation for a few weeks but I’ve noticed these on one of my pots. I’m not sure what it is. They’re very tiny, but definitely alive and moving. I haven’t seen them anywhere else on the plant other than the pot and I haven’t seen them on any other plants. Anyone know what they are?

Just started seeing some little white/tan spots on the leaves of my baby anthurium. At first I thought it might be a light or humidity issue, but now I’m wondering if I have my first lovely case of thrips? I definitely found some black specs under the leaves and on the stems, but nothing that really looks like adults or larvae. I cleaned them off with a soapy water qtip and looked under a microscope and they really only looked like pictures I’ve seen of thrips droppings, so I’m nervous!

I found a slight trace of a spider web and may have spotted one mealy bug on my money tree, Po. I don’t really spot any damage and checked the surrounding plants and they seem fine. I sprayed him with neem oil, treated him with mosquito bits tea and added some sticky yellow fungal traps. I isolated him in the stairwell from all my other plants. I didn’t have anywhere else to isolate him. If I put him in the garage or outside he’s certain to get some sort of infestation, so hopefully alone in the stairwell is sufficient. Is there anything else I should do? I don’t see any white specked leaves. (What might look like speckles in the picture is the droplets of neem oil spray.) He seems very healthy.

Been trying to save this hydrangea, but it refuses to perk up. I water it pretty often, and also give it the occasional fertilization. Update: I downsized the pot, and removed the nasty clay soil it was in. It’s still dying back, but I’m hoping that healthy growth is coming soon.

I took some cuttings off my main plant (inch plant) and some I propagated in water and some I just stuck in the soil…are they doing okay? What are the brown spots on them? I know this app can probably tell me, but I don’t have the money to pay for it, so if ya guys could help, that would be great on tips!

What does the yellow mean? When I bought it, it was already on it so it’s not anything I did 😅

I bought a begonia maculata on clearance from Walmart. There were three plants. One has died. The other two have last all of their leaves and the very top of the stems are dead and black. Is there any hope? Should I give up? Or does anyone have any ideas for me?

Hi! New mini monstera owner here. I just bought this plant, quarantined it, and have not repotted it. I did water it two days ago after it dried out a bit, and I am worried that there might be spider mites. None of my other plants have any issues with pests right now and I am very keen on preventing infestations. I have not seen any webbing near the brown spots. What is going on?

Hi all, our new curry plants have arrived in the mail and all 3 have white spots on some of their leaves. I’m not sure if it’s powdery mildew or spider mites and I don’t want to spray them with neem oil while they’re soaking up their sunshine so I don’t burn their leaves. Can anyone definitively say what’s up with their leaves and best course of action?

hey all! I recently moved (home-wise) and repotted this Monstera facing a north east window. Ever since i’ve moved it’s been doing poorly :( some as shown are pretty yellow while others are just the tips, but the yellow then turns to dried dead brown. thankfully there are a few that haven’t been touched yet. I haven’t seen any pests on the leaves/stems, but I believe there are springtails in the soil (tiny white bugs). I water about once a week following Planta’s schedule and fertilize as well. i’ve never had this happen with any of my plant, please help!

Big mixed messages from my Prayer Pepper / Taco Plant / whatever name you like. It seems to be flowering for the first time! Didn’t even know these plants did that. On the other hand, these black dots are new…is this a pest?

Any recommendations on caring for a lucky bamboo? It was doing well and now the bamboo is yellowing 1 at a time

Hey guys! My sister recently asked for help with one of her succulent plants. She has no idea how to take care of them but wanted to try it. Short story short she forgot about the plant and has asked me to try and revive it. I kinda believe that it’s too far gone at first look I didn’t even know it was a succulent but might as well try. I removed all the brown and dead under leaves, checked for root rot, repotted the plant with different soil and watered it with miracle grow which works well on my other plants when they look sad. Please let me know if I missed something I’ll take any advice Update tried my hardest but she died
