Our flamingo flower has consistently grown yellow leaves, leaves with yellowing / browning tips/edges, and/or spots on the front and back of the leaves. Any insight on what could be causing this?

I live in the UK, and relocated from the Midlands to Greater London a couple of months ago. Since then, my Alocasia has come up with these large brown areas on the leaves, and have been “bleeding” a brown liquid. There’s still a glob of brown “blood” on one of the leaves. What can I do to help? Is it too much sun? (In the midlands it was on a north facing window, and since being in London it’s been on a south facing window.) Is it that the water is too hard? Do I need to fertilise it? Are there pests? (I have noticed tiny little midge/fungus gnat sized flies in the house, could this be causing a disease or something?)

I have a Pia Tree Ivy that’s leaves suddenly got very brittle and dry. There’s some type of brown fuzz on the stem too. If anyone has any idea how to help this plant I’d really appreciate it, I was gifted it just a couple weeks ago and I feel awful that it isn’t doing well.

My Alocasia is browning/yellowing on the tips of its leaves. The one pictured has gotten worse since I got it about two weeks ago. Now the other smaller leaf is starting to brown also. I use distilled water to water it. I’ve only watered it once because the soil was pretty damp when I got it. It’s under a grow lamp as I live in Ohio and it’s winter. I also keep the humidifier next to it running at most times. Humidity averages about 55-60%. Any thoughts/recommendations are much appreciated!

My footstool palm has browning leaves. I trim the leaves and they just continue to brown. I have my plant 2.5/3 meters away from a really bright window is this enough or too much? I water when the soil is 75% or more dry. It is my newest plant and has become my favourite so quickly. Please help me, thank you in advance.

Are these fungus gnat larvae??? Or something else? I have these guys falling out the bottom of my corn plant and my anthuriums. How do I get rid of them? Thanks for the advice! 😊

I received a goeppertia “Beauty star” in this condition. I had a calathea with a similar issue and it just needed more light. What is the problem with this plant?

Hi all! Bought this peace lily a few weeks ago and have been watering it once a week. It’s all droopy now.. wondering if I’m over watering it. Some of the flowers have also started browning but leaves seem healthy. The right picture is the first week I had it and the left picture is now :(

My polka dot plant is SO sad :( it was all dry and crispy at the start so I decided to water it. 2-3 hours later I check up on it and it’s so mushy and soft, and it just looks bad. It’s repotted but doesn’t have any holes. I usually don’t do this with any of my plants but I was going to assume it would’ve been fine. I don’t think it has root rot but I need help. Any recommendations will be taken 🙏.

I got this Boston fern about 3 weeks ago.. I travel a lot and watered it once a week. Came back to it being all dry and crumbly. I am assuming it didn’t have enough sunlight and I just moved it closer to the window. Any suggestions? 💚🍃

So, I had bought a fungus gnat killer over a month ago along with vinegar traps. I have not seen gnats for a good 3 weeks. I was still watering my plants with it and was careful not to overwater. Even on days where there’s no sun, I would skip days but I noticed it still takes longer for my plants to dry out so now.. i think I am about to have a major gnat problem. I’ve inspected my the soil of my plants. They have the larvae and adults. A few days ago, I started bottom watering for all my plants that needed watering. But some of my plants that I had previously top watered are still damp. What do I do with those plants? I just purchased sticky traps and waiting for them to arrive. Are my plants going to die soon? Help!

I have had this dwarf Meyer lemon tree for about 7 years now. The one picture is from the end of October but it started dropping leaves in November. I figured it was from moving several hours away and thought that the leaves would come back but now it’s almost February and there hasn’t been any change. I did move it to a bigger pot and gave it some citrus fertilizer (perhaps not the best idea). I live in Pennsylvania so it stays inside most year round but I like to take it outside during the summer months. I have recently bought a plant light as well. Anyone know how I might revive this guy or if it’s still alive? Any help would be appreciated!!

Just noticed a bit of brown ends on my new golden pothos.. I haven’t watered it yet, and I’m currently at my dads house (got it while visiting, bringing it home today where it will be in around the same conditions.) and have it in a north east facing window, it gets moderate light but nothing too bright. Any advice?? Edit: I found what I think might be mealybugs??

Hey yall! I’ve had this pilea peperomia since this past Summer and she’s always been pretty happy. Recently I’ve noticed a few browning leaves every once and awhile, but I looked today and there’s a TON of browning leaves. Almost every lower leaf has some dry brown spots on it. Any idea on what’s wrong? I’m thinking maybe root rot but I barely water her at all. Has this happened to any one else/any thoughts on how to fix it? Thanks for your help!!
