I received a goeppertia âBeauty starâ in this condition. I had a calathea with a similar issue and it just needed more light. What is the problem with this plant?

Iâm thinking humidity issues or not enough water! Could also be a light thingđ€·đŒââïž

It looks overwatered and maybe too cold. If you close you blinds and it sits on the windowsill it will be like a refrigerator between the blinds and the glass, theyâre tropical plants so they like heat. Itâs honestly on the verge of death. If you arenât sure whatâs going on with the roots, I would repot but between pots I would remove as much dirt as possible and remove every rotted root I can.
2 gillningarIâm not sure how much hope there is for this one. As long as thereâs no âsmell of deathâ on it, you might be able to save it. Probably should get rid of all the dead stuff and see if the living part can regrow.

What direction is the window facing. They donât like direct sunlight. Itâs probably also to cold in that window and could be humidity.
