Iâm very new to gardening, and got a basil plant for my window. In just a few days it has completely wilted! I have a new pot to move it to so it will have some more space, but what is wrong with it? Am I watering too much? Or is it not getting enough sun? Help!
Hey yâall! So ive had this elephant ears for a while now but all of a sudden some of the leaves are turning brown and yellowish. Even on a new leaf that hasnât even blossomed yet! Idk whatâs happening. It doesnât look like it has any bugs, itâs in my window, and I water it around every four days if needed. Please tell me any suggestions on how to save it!!
Does anyone know what this white stuff is in my potting soil? I know this plant needs to be repotted so maybe it doesnât have enough airflow and this is fungus? Please let me know if you have any ideas! They are white and irregular shaped, and only towards the bottom half of the soil. I donât think itâs perlite. Tysmm
There is a brown spot on my orchid. Also some of the flowers have a tiny hole in them. Am I doing something wrong? Should I do anything to fix it? I pruned the plant that is in the same pot because it also had brown ends. It doesnât really get sun, is that the problem? The rest of it looks pretty healthy though.

This gal is still growing like a weed but some leaves lost their dark pigment. Should I be concerned? It gets about 6 hours of direct sunlight (through gaps other plants leaves).
My Chinese Evergreen âSilver Bayâ has had yellow, droopy leaves for a while now and I canât seem to figure out how to fix it! I tried watering less, I tried more, and Iâve put it in the sunniest place possible and nothing is seeming to work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help?
What is the best way to get rid of thrips? I feel like whenever I notice them itâs always too late. I have been rubbing 1 part rubbing alcohol 7 parts water on the leaves and stems with q tips. I also use neem oil periodically. TIA!

Iâve just been given a poorly stingray plant that has been struggling to push out any new leaves. I want to get him back to a happy and healthy state. UPDATE: Thank you guys so much for the tips!! Sheâs got a new stem and leaf coming in thanks to some new placement and misting for humidity!! ORIGINAL POST: Cathelea tips? Iâve had the one on the left for over a year now and sheâs still so tiny. Leaves crisp up and fall off pretty frequently and Iâm not sure why. Sheâs not in direct sunlight, but i have a large mirror right next to it, could that be a cause? Iâd like for her to get nice and big and healthy but Iâm stumped on her growth right now. Seeing her new sibling next to her all lush and healthy at that size gives me hope. Thank you!!
Anyone have any fittonia tips? Iâve had this plant twice now and itâs always given me a hard time. It may be the climate I live in (4 seasons and cold winters) and a lack of humidity but Iâm not sure. It gets 8 hrs with my grow light and the leaves shrivel off slowly. Thank you!
Whatâs going on with my sunflowers?
I need some guidance with my dwarf fiddle leaf fig. The leaves started to droop and I figured it was time to water. Usually she perks right back up but this time she didnât. Two large leaves fell off. Sheâs been drooping for 4 days now after watering and it seems like the soil is holding a lot of the water. Any advice?
I have a sugar ant problem all over all my outdoor pots especially the veggies. Iâve heard this is an issue specific to the PNW. Iâm not sure if I should be concerned, will they do damage or set up a nest? How do I control or get rid of them. Theyâre only outside (đ€please donât come inside!đ«Ł) right now but I definitely donât want them anywhere!
