My Chinese Evergreen ‘Silver Bay’ has had yellow, droopy leaves for a while now and I can’t seem to figure out how to fix it! I tried watering less, I tried more, and I’ve put it in the sunniest place possible and nothing is seeming to work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help?

Is the soil very moist or is drier? How often do you water the plant? It looks to be overwatered, as an under watered plant would have crispier leaves on the edges. You may need repot in order to examine the roots and make sure they aren’t rotting.

The soil is on the drier side, I looked it up and it said more light but I don’t think that’s the case. I will try watering it less, thanks so much for the suggestion

Ive had a hard time with my Aglaonema’s too, my Snow White had yellowing leaves for a while. It started doing better once I changed the soil mix, I think the previous mix was holding too much water. These plants don’t mind drying out a little between watering. I changed to using a tropical soil mix using coir, compost, pumice, and orchid bark. It’s doing much better now.
