I was watering my Peace Lilly today when I noticed two types of worms drain from the soil. Two worms are small and white and one is long and dark. I’ve had a bad infestation of fungus gnats that I’ve been treating for 3 weeks. It’s almost under control. I’ve been using Sticky Traps, Zevo Lights and Mosquito Bits. But these worms are new. Do I need to worry and is there some way to get rid of it? Thanks!

Does anyone know why my Lisa Cane is dying in just one section? Most of the leaves seem great but there’s one section from one of the stalks where all the leaves have been slowly dying. Does anyone know what might cause this and how to fix it?

does anybody know why these flowers keep drooping on my Cala lily? They bloom white and then turn green and get too heavy and droop. I read that if the flowers turn green, it may not be getting enough sun, but I moved it into more sunlight and it is still happening.

i have a calathea named francesca that was perky and beautiful when i first got her and now she has a lot of leaf damage and is very droopy. at first, the pot i had her in didn’t have drainage so about 2 weeks ago i drilled a hole in the bottom on the pot and i accidentally left her outside in shade for the rest of the day. since then she has been even more droopy. i water her once a week and she is in a southwest facing window. does anyone have any advice on how to get her happy again ?

I just got this plant a few days ago and I went ahead and repotted it but it’s had this rough white stuff since I got it. Does anyone know what’s going on with the little guy? (This is my first ever plant so I’m still new to everything)

i got a watermelon peperomia and a jade plant a couple days ago from a plant nursery and there’s little bugs coming out of them sometimes. some of them are like tiny white bugs and some look like fruit flies (i know they aren’t fruit flies) i’ve tried a bunch of methods to get rid of them. i’ve put coffee grounds in their soil, i’ve sprayed them with an oil, dish soap and water mixture and they still haven’t gone away. help!!

I recent was gifted this arrangement, and it was doing well up until recently. This succulent (I think) in the back has started dropping a bunch of leaves, but has new growth at the tops. Any ideas as to what could be happening?

Calathea help please! I have two, a Freddie and a Stella (white fusion?). Both have had some leaves turn crispy, which I assume was a humidity thing. I’ve since put a humidifier nearby for both of them. The new growth is fine. Should I cut off the crispy leaves? If so, do you trim them right below the leaf or further down near the soil? And with the Stella/variegated one, I had a beautiful new leaf come out recently and my son accidentally whacked it and broke the stem 😩 should I trim it off or leave it? It’s not fully broken off but it is dropped down and the stem clearly is partly broken. Any advice is appreciated! These are my first calatheas and I really want them to thrive šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

Unsure what to do with this flf, i’ve had her for a few years now and have not had very much upward growth aside from new leaves. A month or two ago I pinched off the top (the brown pointy thing that unravels into a new leaf) as I heard that can promote more growth or splitting, which is what I’d like it to do. It regrew from the spot I pinched off, but is now kinda off centered and won’t grow another branch off of there. A professional recommended that I cut it back a bit, so the new growth is sprouting out from a node there. There is also not much foliage towards the bottom, and I’m unsure if I should do anything about those leaves.

Hey guys, yesterday I got a ZZ Plant and I’m pretty sure it had root rot but not sure (Some of the roots on the bottom were brown and gooey). Whenever I got it, the pot was almost halfway full of water🄲 I repotted it today (had to cut the pot off because it was so root bound) and removed all of the bad roots, is there anything else I need to do/know?

Hi everyone! I’m a new plant parent and have had this prayer plant for about three months now. He has been sprouting all kinds of new growth, which I’m very excited about. However, he’s getting a little heavy. I very recently repotted him due to being root bound, and I noticed he’s leaning over pretty heavily to once side. Should I use a stake or something and tie him upwards? Or is it okay to leave the stem and plant leaning to the side? I’m very new to all of this, so I apologize if this is a bit of a newbie question!

Hi! I’m not sure what’s going on with my fiddle fig, can anyone please explain why the leaves are browning, she isn’t over or under watered. I know I need to change the pot she’s in cause her roots are growing out of the holes. Can I salvage the brown leaves or do I have to cut the whole leaves off, and what can I do to prevent the rest of the leaves from browning in the future. I hate having sick plants 😭😭😭😭

Why do my majesty palm’s leaf tips keep turning brown?! No matter what I try, this plant’s leaves keep turning brown and wilting! I have it in medium light, keep the soil moist, didn’t repot it from its nursery pot because I was waiting for it to acclimate but then it started browning immediately. The store planted the root ball too high so the roots at the base of the stems got all dried out - tried to fix by adding new soil on top to cover them. Thought maybe I was over watering but then I let it almost dry out before watering less frequently, still nothing. Pruned the completely brown leaves, still nothing. What’s super puzzling is that it’s still growing new leaves (the light green tall leaf on the left side just unfurled). So is my plant healthy or dying?? :(
