Something with watering since it’s specifically on the veins. Overwatering, maybe bad tap water

I put my tap water in a gallon jug and let it sit 24 hrs before I use it.

Ooo… is that an Alocasia Tigrina Superba? I will be receiving a baby one very soon! Can I assume it unfurled that way? Almost looks like there may have been a tiny bit of rot inside the leaf when it was forming and it kinda created a pattern when undoing itself. I would check the soil and roots. What kind of soil you got her in? Most places sell Alocasia’s in soil that is completely wrong for the longevity of this plant. Its usually something that is way to dense and peaty or pure coco coir that holds onto moisture for way to long and doesn’t allow enough oxygen to get to Alocasia roots. So the leaves start to yellow and die slowly one by one, somewhat from root rot but also fungal issues arise. If this seems true to the plant soil you got, change out the soil asap to an aroid chunky mix (or Letchuza Pon semi-hydro) and also let soil dry out about 1/3 way down before watering again. You will soon after that stop loosing leaves and instead start growing new ones!

I’ve had her since she was a baby and she got root rot recently but I solved it, now she’s in a nice chunky mix and I water her when she’s somewhat dried. The other leaves are perfect it just seems this one looks weird 😂

Perfect! Hopefully the rot stops there in its tracks and doesn’t spread. Sounds like you did all the right things! Maybe wipe the brown parts down with a water x hydrogen mix just to be safe.
