Last year was a rough year for me and as a result my plants suffered. Several of them ended up dying. This year has been much better and I have been regrowing my plant collection. They are like little green therapists! I look forward to my days off when I go around with my Planta app and check each one and see if they need what Planta is telling me. Friday is my favorite day because it’s misting day! My corn plants kept trying to hold on, but they were suffering. Instead of sending them to the compost pile I decided to attempt to start them fresh. I stripped them down of their sad and browning leaves and stuck them in water in an attempt to grow new roots. Will they bounce back from the brink of death? I’ve included photos of what ‘Saphira’ looked like prior to her chop and strip and photo of what they look like now.

Morning all :) Seems like my emerald is having a moment. Been sticking to a fairly minimal water schedule, once every 3-4 weeks and fertilising at the same interval. Even got new shoots coming through strong. So why are my leaves turning mustard😂?? It’s in a westerly facing window so my only assumption is that sunlight is just not suitable enough for this guy anymore.
Monstera question! I got a small monstera plant that had been living in pure water for the last 6 months. I put it in a pot with dirt (no drainage but has rocks) and got something to hold the stems up and it has been doing well for the last week or so ive had it. But now its starting to droop and im concerned. How often should i be watering? Its getting bright indirect sunlight
hi! this is my monstera i got from a garage sale a few months back, and i just repotted her today from a 12 inch pot to a 14 inch pot. she’s in an east facing window that gets about 2-3 hours of direct sunlight in the morning, and then bright indirect throughout the day. one leaf has these tiny brown dots on it and the others do not, i’m wondering if these are a symptom of poor health and if so, how to fix it. overall, she’s happy and her roots are perfectly healthy. don’t mind the sagging leaf at the bottom, she’s getting pruned soon due to new growth. the white spot isn’t a thrip, just some fiber i hadn’t wiped off. thank you!
HELP! I got this fiddle leaf fig back in January. She came in the main and when I opened her she was full and had very healthy leaves. It seemed like my problems were almost instant. Two months later her leaves started curling, browning, and falling off. I repotted moved her. It only got worse from there. A few months down the road I finally did some research (which I should have done in the first place 🤦♀️) and I moved her to the only south facing window I have. Again it only got worse. This is her now. I really want to rescue her but I’m out of ideas. Definitely needs a bigger pot so I am taking care of that today.
So it seems that the potential aphids have gotten on more than one plant. I gave some insecticide that I sprayed on the plants. How long do I do this for? There’s no instructions on the bottle.
Can anyone tell me why the ends of my leaves & stems are turning black? It’s like all of them all over the plant, it has a little “black aurora” around it.
I transplanted my strawberry plant recently to a bigger box and came back to this. Why did part of my plant shrivel up? Is it trauma? Lack of water? Too much sun? Will the rest of my plant die with it this late into the summer?
Does anyone know what is causing this. Pest? Too much sun. Underwater. Over water??

What in the world is in my banana trees soil?? 🤯🤯🤯 (the weird small gray bug in the middle by the light colored piece of mulch all swarmed out when I watered it so I dumped my neem mixture into the soil)
Found these all over my pumpkin plants today , are these causing my pumpkins to wither and how can I get rid of them?
I ordered this Thai con from BWH plant co and upon receiving it had a few flawed spots, it was still moist so I didn’t water it and just put it in bright indirect light. Over 4 days the the flawed spots got bigger and one more showed up and the plant is now completely laying over and leaves are flimsy. They gave me a refund as they said it seems like the transit/temperature put it under too much stress. Is there anything I can do to help/save this one? Give me all your advice!
How can I tell if my hydrangea turning brown is from under or over watering?

A few of my Golden Pothos leaves are turning yellow and going soft - plus the black spots on that one leaf. The soil also smells a bit funky, sort of damp? Is this a case of root rot? Any advice is appreciated!
