False shamrock gone downhill in the last day. I watered it yesterday as it was dry and now itâs just gone limp. Not sure if it wasnât enough light or the watering. Moved it to a bright window for now. Anything I can do to help it out? Iâm wondering if the pot is too big and needs downsizing Thank you in advance
Iâm having some trouble with my alocasia brancifolia - one leaf is doing great and the other is just getting droopier. Anyone has any ideas? No webs, no visible pests to be seen.
Why do my three newest monstera leaves have these bruises/small tears? I repotted about 3 weeks ago. The oldest of these three new leaves u fueled before the repot. We also moved to a new house 2 weeks ago. Also in the last pic thereâs some bruising looking mark on one of the stems. Please lmk what yâall think. Thanks!!!
Hello! I was wondering if anyone had any advice with this plant here. Itâs been struggling and seemed to be dying for a few years but earlier this year a new growth unexpectedly happened. But I donât know what to do. Any advice is really appreciated! Thank you!
I recently purchased a watermelon pepperonis & itâs in a sawdust type soil. The little bugger just does not like it & is a limp noodle. Iâm desperate to transplant the 2â but not sure if I should put in4â pot & best soil to help it stabilize. It was shipped to SE AK where I am & all other ones have stabilized nicely. HELP!
This is my lavender plant Iâve got from B&Q and it was doing absolutely fine for the first few days however itâs started to die out on me. It has drainage clay underneath the soil and I do make sure to water it so it doesnât dry out except the days where the UK had been experiencing extreme rain so I didnât want to overwater it.
does this look like spider mites? I went ahead and repotted and sprayed down with neem oil + added systemic granules to the new soil, but I didnât see any actual bugs or anything moving. Is there anything else I should do?
Hi everyone, I posted here a few days ago and since then have sadly determined I am dealing with thrips. đ I have begun taking measures to combat this, but Iâm curious to know how likely you all think it is for the thrips to have spread to my other plants, given my setup (I am aware that this can unfortunately even happen from my contact with the plants - but just based on distance)? The plant WAS located in the pot on the right with the vine wrapping about 2/3rds of the way to the centre kokedama. And do thrips target air plants? đ
I am a new plant mom and need advice on how to take care of my anthurium plant. I water when the soil is dry and it is next to but not in a window. But it is still having brown spots, and I canât tell what is natural and what I need to do to help it.
Hi everyone, had a pretty bad fungus gnat problem recently I have done 2 mosquito bits treatments and read somewhere that if you put about a half inch layer of sand over the medium that can help to prevent adult gnats from being able to lay new eggs in the soil and newly hatched eggs to be able to escape. The sand combined with the mosquito bits seems to have worked extremely well but while using my moisture meter the couple plants I have put sand on top have much higher soil moisture level. Is the sand preventing the soil from being able to aerate and dry out naturally? Trying to avoid root rot here. Thanks so much in advance
Please I need help I got this parlor palm a year ago and I am trying to to take better care of it how do I make sure it is growing correctly and Iâm trying to see if it is sick or not and if it is what can I do
Can anyone help me figure out whatâs going on with my ficus triangularis? Itâs been dropping leaves like crazy and Iâve noticed some of them have spots on them. Is it a pest or disease? Or water issue? Or something else?
Hey plant peeps! I have a new-to-me aloe that i just repotted into a larger pot, from 4â to 6 inches. Three weeks into their new pot and Iâve noticed the bottom leaves turning dark. Is it in shock? Have i under or overwatered? Sunburn?? I donât want to lose this cutie pie!!đđđ
These are my Hyrdangeas Endless Summers. I need Help they look bad
Help!! I just got this beauty and overnight, two leaves got these spots. is this brown spot? iâve never seen anything like it before on any of my plants.
Hello! I have spidermites on two plants for the first time. I washed them and used some bug be gone eco6 days ago but I still see 1 or 2. How do I get rid of them? Is it a long process? I caught it really early thankfully but I would like to save my plants
Does anyone know why the âleavesâ are shriveled? And some of the ends look dried up. Do I need to water it more? I water it like once month
Help! I got Lily a week ago and repotted her. The new soil and pot I got had a hard time draining her and my new apartment gets more sun than Iâm used to and I accidentally sunburnt her a little. After watering yesterday her spots got worse and developed white spots on the bottom of the leaves. I think sheâs over watered, so I repotted her in (moist but not wet) soil with more pearlite and a rocky layer at the bottom. I didnât see any root rot but Iâm hoping the repotting in drier and better draining soil helps! I trimmed her leaves too but any help or tips is appreciated!! Has anyone else gotten little white dots on the bottom of their leaves?
I think my peperomia is dying. I had my boyfriend water my plants for half of May while I was out of the country, and they never really recovered from being over watered and in dim light/shade. The red tint that the back of the leaves are known for seems to be very faint, and the leaves arenât as strong as they used to be. It also seems like it takes much longer for the soil to dry between waters. Any tips? Is it ?
