I brought this caladium home after finding it at the nursery for $3 (what a steal lol) despite me thinking that I have the incorrect growing environment for it. I live in west Texas & it’s 103 & dry. I have it sitting on a picnic table under the tree in my backyard; the back side of my table gets less direct sun where this sitting because I thought the sun was causing burn. However it’s still on a decline & other than it just being too hot & dry outside, I don’t know where else I could be going wrong.. I don’t have windows with good lighting in my home otherwise that’s where it’d be..

Does anyone know what’s going on here? He’s outside, covered porch, north facing. I don’t see any bugs - this popped up overnight! 😩 I should mention it’s super hot and humid here and he needed to be watered sooner than usual last time - I fear I let him go too long without as I’m terrified of overwatering him. TIA.
What do you guys think it is? It’s been outside, rain and shine for the last 2 weeks since I’ve brought it home. The other one like it, same seller, is doing just fine. Same environment outside.
There are small bugs crawling in the top soil of the plant I have. An every green plant. How do I get rid of them 😞
My plant was on my desk in sunlight for about 20-30 min a day. Now its hung it up and it’s in the corner by the window not getting to to much sunlight but I feel it will still do okay, good idea? or should I move it?
I got this succulent a few weeks ago, and put it out on my back porch for full sun. A few days later, about half of the soil was dug out (or at least that’s what it looked like). None of my other outdoor plants were dug up, which is odd. A couple of days later it happens again. I brought it inside under a grow light about a week and a half ago. Now there is new growth. I am 99.9% sure it’s just weeds that somehow got in there when it was dug up, but can anyone confirm?
Hi all! I have a few plants here that I have suspected are overwatered. I would love any advice on how to revive them. I just replaced the soil they were in with succulent soil, and have already moved them away from my south facing windows where they were right on the sill. The bigger one with yellowing leaves is a calandiva, and I am unsure of the smaller one. I’ve only recently gotten the smaller one and bottom watered it once last week. I do not plan on watering them for about a week now that I replaced the soil. Is there anything else I should do? I already don’t water them often, so I suspected they didn’t have well-draining soil. When I do water them, I make sure the soil is dry first. They just look so sad, I would love any tips
My staghorn fern is starting to have yellowing leaves. It has been kept in a no light bathroom with occasional exposure to a NW window. Should I leave on the windowsill of my NW window to have it get healthy? Or should I leave it on a shelf with indirect light from the NW window? Any other ideas?
monstera was doing so well. Started getting spotted- mostly around edges and it’s not thrips Anyone have any help
HELP lol I snapped the top of my fiddle 😞 will it continue to produce leaves or is it going to stop growing? Thanks for your advice in advance 🌱💕
HELP !! My Rubber Fig is very sick any tips on how I can revive her ?
My paddle plant is heavy and tilting! Just this morning she fell all the way over 😭 I packed in some new, damp, soil around the base but it wasn’t enough because she’s got new growth and I couldn’t cover her babies! I had to lean her against a pillar to stand up, and then I noticed she has a whole stalk in the bottom growing horizontally! Is it time to repot? How do I do that without hurting her? I fear I wiped off some of her protective layer today. 🙏🏻 Please help
Why is my lavender looking like this? Is this normal? It’s still really smells beautiful!?
What’s going on with my stingray plant 😭😭😭
Can anyone pleeeasse tell me what I’m doing wrong with my alocasias? 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Several of them have leaves that keep turning this pinky yellow colour and dropping even though other ones next to them are fine? Some are still Giving new growth while also turning 🤷🏼♀️ I use a moisture meter to check when they need watering - about once a week - so I don’t think it’s over or under watering. They’re next to a north facing window with a bit of shelter so they aren’t getting full sun. Please please help!
Help my Swiss cheese plant is dropping. And loosing a lot of leaves. I tried bottom watering it but it didn’t do anything. I don’t want to keep watering because I know it’s a fussy plant when it’s overwatered.
Not sure if this is savable maybe it’s the end of the cycle not sure if they supposed to last more than once summer but if it can be saved, I would love to know how they were one beautiful and now they slowly dying
Just wanting some advice here—my bird if paradise has been trying to push these out for a few months. I think they’re too low to just help open the leaf??? Is there anything I can do to help the plant? Should I just leave it? And that leaf has been half open for a few months like that.
Hello, I have an alocasia melo and it hasn’t grown at all in months, I had a closer look and what I suspect was a new leaf has died. Will this plant produce another new leaf in its place?
