Is this a bug that might be killing my fern?

    Scales. I would cut that leaf if that’s the only infected area. Check under everything. Wipe down to remove with a soft cloth soaked in isopropyl alcohol. You may have to gently scrape them off. Spray with neem oil or insecticidal soap afterward to catch the small ones. Wipe down the area. Treat every week until they are gone. 🪴🍀

      I have sprayed it with both in the last 2 days. Hope I don’t kill it with treatment. This stuff is freaking me out. Thanks Sunny you know your stuff!

    I see multiple areas of pests

      Good eye. They were every where. The more leaves I cut off the more scale I saw. Not much plant left.
