    Mine did that too! I think it was a combination of overwatering and to much sun 🤔

      Thanks! She’s quarantined (just bought so I can’t determine cause) and treated with a pest/alcohol/dishsoap/water treatment. Will do that once or twice a week for 4 weeks and that leave has been removed. I’ll see what happens from there.

    If it was rust fungus it would wipe off. It could be mechanical damage while the leaf was coming out. It could also be caused by sap, which happens with philodendrons.

      No problem, I had the same question recently on a random philo on how to differentiate rust fungus vs just damage, that’s why I knew that after researching 😂
