In a beginner with taking care of flowers and plants and these are my hyacinth I’ve been trying to keep alive. I’ve been watering them every other day but they still dying; does anyone know what I can do 😅

Did it flower already? They die back down to the bulb after flowering

Try watering in the super early morning 3:00-5:00, obviously not everyone can wake up that early so evening waterings (after sun has gone down) will work too! Hope this helps!!
좋아요 1개Hyacinths are dormant this time of year (summer, they bloom in the spring then start to “die off” in the summer, especially if they’re in a too bright spot like full sun without any shade). If might look really scary right now, but they’re probably fine, and as a hardy bulb plant, should come back just fine next spring. They’re just not gonna bloom again until next spring.

Essentially, you only need to water dormant outdoor plants when there’s serious drought, but it’s glitching and saying to water it as if it isn’t an already dormant plant. So please don’t think it’s your fault. The rain should do the work for you, so just try laying off the watering for now.

If they’re in a spot with full sun and no shade, you can take the time to take the bulbs out and plant them elsewhere without worrying about the flowers being affected by movement. Best of luck. Hope this helps!
