Hi all! My kalanchoe started flowering around 2.5 weeks ago. I had initially thought the yellowing and falling off of leaves was due to it expending so much energy on flowering but now I am suspecting a fungal infection. Is anyone able to confirm this and have any suggestions on resolving it?

Those leaves have no black spots or rings. So, it’s likely not fungal. My photo of a Hoya Obscura shows a fungal infection. It could be old leaves dying or too much water. It could just need repotting or propagating based on the leggy look and dropped leaves if it’s an older plant. Insufficient lighting can also cause it to look leggy and drop leaves. A single plant grow light within a foot of it can help. Run at least 12 hours a day.🍀🪴

I've had a kalanchoe suffer from something similar - specifically the white cloudy spots on leaves. It looks a lot like powdery mildew to me:/ I was recommended to rinse the plant with a 1:3 peroxide solution, and I went further and repotted it too.

Thank you Anastasia! I will try to rinse the leaves then. I have tried watering it with hydrogen peroxide mixed in but if it’s powdery mildew I think your solution will work better, thank you

I take care one of these plants at my work and I found to let the soil dry out a bit between watering. You may be overwatering and the leaves are turning yellow. However your plant looks healthy to me from the photo you shared

Thank you! Okay I will try to be more intentional on letting the soil dry out more. Thank you for your insight, always helpful when someone else has taken care of the same plant.
